I have. Once ya get the silver n' read pot I got the 'To be Continued'
Not too bad. Logic-ness is pretty nice to have after that mad-rush from before :P

You typed too fast. I assume read = red.

Yep, it's definitely a different pattern for everyone. Here are mine should anyone want to try them:

#1:
Bumroot
Leafy Slorgblossum
Bumroot

#2:
Leafy Slorgblossum
Crushed Jurpleberries
Leafy Slorgblossum
Bumroot

#3:
Bronze Sansam
Bronze Sansam
Leafy Slorgblossum
Salt
Leafy Slorgblossum
Crushed Jurpleberries
Bumroot

After I finished this last set, I got the "to be continued..."

The ingrediients for everyone is different but the effect you are after is the same. I would swear that round one was random, but two and three were easy to logic out.

I don't understand what you're saying here. Are you saying we need to get that colour sequence (blue, purple, black etc)? If so, then none of my ingredients will turn it blue on the first try, I need to use a combination. How do I know which is the correct colour sequence for me to arrive at red infused or is it just trial and error?

I kept track of my combos in notepad, so if I messed up someplace I knew my combos until I got up to the one I needed to find out.

1. leafy bum
2. leafy bum leafy salt crushed leafy
3. leafy salt salt salt bum leafy bronze bronze bronze

EDIT: I was able to get them as green, blue, purple, black, pink, rainbow, swirly, shiny purple, then red & white/silver.

I'd describe my colour progression as

Red
Blue
purple (or black, both could get me to pink)
pink
split
swirl
sparkling
white and red [final sol]

though....reached the tbc...:P

There's actually a way to determine what ingredients actually go into the potion.

This is a theory that has been working for me so far.

Before you picking random ingredients, dump the same ingredient into the cauldron. If it changes color to anything (usually green or blue), it's a good chance it is a potion ingredient.

I tried this, and actually found out my second potion consists of ONE ingredient only. Some might not be so lucky though.

What you DON'T want is for the liquid to turn to RED.

You want to get the potion to green, then blue, then purple, etc. The bottom line is, you DON'T want RED.

You'll find that some ingredients go from GREEN to RED to GREEN again. Usually, I find this is probably not a potion ingredient, because it is "weak".

Of course, the number of ingredents for each potion varies per person as does the order. The number varies because one is trying to BALANCE the potion. If the potion turns red again, it needs to be neutralized, et al.

If you get what I mean.

I think the initial colors are different for everyone also....I had blue, green, purple, light pink, rainbow, green/yellow swirl, sparkly purple, red/white swirl. I think the important part are the swirly, "special" colors

FYI
I looked at it...never got an overflow during the first phase

Second phase, overflow happened at the seventh item

Last phase, overflow happened at the tenth item

Is that the same for everyone else? Maybe I misposted earlier

You get more ingredients as you progress through the potions.

Gah.. lagging real bad here on the forums. :(

It too a long while for me to understand what exactly was needed to do, but I eventually did. Thanks for everyone else who figured out the colour progression, though sometimes mine skipped steps and it still worked...
