I don't know about everyone else, but I'm totally stuck on the vine part. I have all 30 vines, and when I start out with a few, or even with a bit, I never get a message saying that my vine is to short, it just keeps saying that it's not strong enough:(

I'm sorry if someone has already posted a suggestion, but my method of mapping my woods is not going so well. Any suggestions?

Here is a screenie of how I am mapping the 2nd part of my woods. It is not done yet, but this is similar to the method I used for the LDP. So far, it's working out pretty well.

Edit: Fixed the link. It should work now.

Right-o. There is something odd when you refresh at the the dance pad. The red on the left tree is not there when it is fully loaded. Can be seen every time I reload though.

Argh. These vines are freaking impossible for someone with absolutely no patience whatsoever. *foams at mouth with frustration*

That's what I did:

The clearing is hard to recognize unless you know exactly what you're looking for- I went over it about 3 times before looking at someone's screenshot and going "OH!"

Basically, it's just a page with no trees or paths in the middle- a good screenshot is here. Scroll down to the screenshot of the woods and you'll see what I mean (obviously, it won't have the same path/tree combination, but the background will be exactly the same). Hope that helps!

can't find the sig from this set, so instead, you get a <3 .

How did you figure it out 100+ tries im no longer in the mood to try random guessing...

In one of the previous boards, there was a method that worked for me:
theonlysaneone wrote:
First, you need to collect every vine. EVERY vine. Then go to the cliff area. Dump every single vine except for 6 of the first kind (if it glitches, click on the path left of the cliff, then the path in the center to take you back. Not sure if that works for anyone else, but there might be something similar). If you get a message that says it won't support Bruno's weight, dump vines until you get a seperate scene that shows vines lowering, but it isn't long enough.

Once you've gotten that message, continue adding the same vine until you stop getting it. Then move on to the next one. Once you've gotten the right number in each field (it should add to 1 8), the rope will be exactly long enough, and you'll move on to the Deep Woods (OFF anyone?). I have no earthly idea what to do there.

Unlike others, my "dance pad" seems perfectly normal. Nothing red failing to load that I can tell (btw, that screenie was not at all a clear picture), no red text, nothing.

Tried that, and it still says that my "rope" isn't strong enough. And there is rumors going around the Neobards that some people can get 36 vines, while others (like me) can only get 30

OK....now that's not too bad, I got into the Deep Woods using 6-6-3-2-0...now I'm trying to catch the ghost meepits, but it seems like every time I clicked on one to try to catch it, it says the following "You approach the Ghost Meepit and reach out for it...but it sees you coming and flees into the woods!" Anyone has this problem?

chi_chi1548286 - I removed all of my vines except for 4 of each of the two vines on the right of the right of the list. I then got the message about it not being long enough

Rotting, Decaying, and Crumbling Vines make your rope WEAKER but LONGER.

Remove them to make your rope stronger until it can be lowered over the side. Add them to make it long enough, but add slowly because if it is too long ... a monster grabs it and you must colelct alll 30 vines again.

I'm stuck on the Meepit Forest, too. Mapping the darn thing is a pain in the butt, but I'm having more sucess doing that than I am trying to catch those stupid meepits.

I also had a very off configuration of vines, but for the life of me I can't repeat it; I tried to refresh my inventory when I got the right combo, only to find that the vines had all disappeared. I do know I had 6 of the first vine, and none of (I believe) the 4th vine. I might have had 6 of the last vine, too.

Edit: I'm not having trouble with my dancing meepit site, either. I'm running Firefox, if that helps.

Oh, thanks a lot... well, I feel silly now :P that was the 2nd sceenie I saw. I thought a clearing was a screen with no trees at all.
