I'm sorry if someone has already posted a suggestion, but my method of mapping my woods is not going so well. Any suggestions?

It looks like with the vine combinations the sum of vines is always 19-21

Collecting meepits after seeing the "door" does not work.

Right, we need the meepits. And therein lies the rub.

I tried drawing arrows for paths and lollipops for trees. However, there were a couple of maps that looked similar, but the shape of their paths were different. I'd suggest drawing in the shapes as well. Just keep at it. It seems like if you can get to X from Z, then you can get back to Z from X. Good luck!

OK...if the rope is too short, just add more vines (preferably not the decaying one) one at a time until you get to the bottom

I'm stuck in the High Woods... I have all the vines, but I can't find the clearing. Probably I've done something wrong in the mapping 
how did you map yours anyway? I just pasted some screenies in paint and linked them with arrows.

I hope we don't have to click on one of the seven grey circles then find the correct meepit to mplace upon it. That would be CRAZY!

According to the Neoboards (which I know really shouldn't be trusted), everyone had seven Meepits in their inventories on Friday. So maybe it's a glitch that we can't catch them...

My combo ended up being: 01046 (only 11 vines!)
