I'm reading Science of the Discworld III by Terry Pratchett. More complicated than ever.

Just went to the library yesterday and picked up 20 something new big thick books, so I'm in literary bliss right now and read two in the span of 4 hours (and as a result went to bed at 2 AM).

So I've finished The Last Days by Scott Westerfeld, which is the sequel to Peeps (no, not the easter chick marshmallow things, vampires). omg. sogood. I died at the ending, though, because it was kind of disappointing for me. :(

Then I read the new Artemis Fowl book by Eoin Colfer, The Lost Colony. also omgsogood. Also had a disappointing ending. >_>

Currently reading The Water Mirror by Kai Meyer- not sure what I think about it yet, as it's one of the rare books that I've never heard about before and yet read anyway.

I'm not sure if my reading tastes have suddenly turned elitist on me, but it's kind of annoying that TWO hugely anticipated books for me had endings I wasn't happy with. Grrrr.

can't find the sig from this set, so instead, you get a <3 .

Ditto, except for the disapointing ending. I think all it did was a Pirates of the Carribean II and say 'SEQUEL'.

I'm currently reading Stephen King's From a Buick 8. Its interesting but I'm not holding my breath for it to be great after the disappointment of Roadwork.

Abandoned The Water Mirror for the moment and am instead starting Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell by Susanna Clarke.

The Helmet of Horror by Victor Pelevin - it makes little to no sense overall though each individual component does.

I've just finished reading (bits of) Ovid's Metamorphoses and quite soon I'm going to start on Sophocles' Antigone, Oedipus the King, Electra. The blurb sounds really interesting :D

At the moment I'm reading Waifs and Strays by Charles de Lint (it's open on my lap as I type this!) but I'll probably finish it tonight. After that...I'm headed to Stephen King's Dark Tower series (finally!). I've been on a Stephen King kick lately, reading the many books of his that I never read.

Good book. I've thought about re-reading the whole series as my next thing to read.
