OK, just got caught up on the first 2 episodes. I'm hooked!

My thoughts: Nikki's other persona is not really evil at all. She doesn't really do evil things. She came out to protect Nikki from the mobsters that were going to do bad things to her. Then she came out again to clean up the mess and left everything where Nikki would find it.

I think Peter has the mimic power, He flew because his brother flew and he could draw the future because he met Isaac when he OD'ed. I think he will be interesting when he meets the rest.

I still don't really know why Hiro ended up back in the subway. His power kind of gives me a headache when I think too much about it.

Claire is awesome.

I think Sylar may be Claires Dad. HRG obviously went to New York for a reason: to find the rest of the Heroes from Mohinders (sp) father. Thats how he found out about Claire. Then he went to Claires real parents to get her fathers brain (my speculation) We also know that Sylar will (try to) take Isaacs brain too from Hiros scene. We'll see what happens but thats what I think.

I absolutely love shows that make you think and speculate. Thats why I love Lost so much and I am very happy they are keeping this show at least till the end of the season!

Hiro sets about proving to Ando that he is meant to save the word. Matt is questioned by FBI agent Audrey Hansen, about suspectd serial killer Sylar, who Mohinder learns had a connection with his dead father.

I like Hiro best because he likes his power, rather than tries to keep it secret.

Okay, so tonight's episode was freaking awesome, just as I expected.

Sylar... Wow, he's like an all-powerful being. o.O He can freeze people, fly, and control people's bodies. He's also apparently invincible (like Claire) and he can chop the tops of peoples' heads off cleanly and steal their brains. That's quite some talent. <_<

I'm convinced that HRG isn't working for the government, but I'm still not sure if he's really Sylar or not... The way he acts certainly makes him seem like it, but I dunno...

Aha! I knew D.L. was Micah's father. And I'm also pretty sure that the little girl is Claire's sister and those were her parents that were killed before, which explains why Sylar would want her.

Hiro makes me laugh every time. xD That was so cool how he froze time to save the schoolgirl.

Tonights episode freakin rocked!

Isaac: I think he knew all about Simone (Note the picture with the red umbrella) which is why he broke it off with Simone. However, I don't think he needs the drugs to paint the future. Maybe he is like Hiro, he needs to learn to tap into it.

Nikki: Sooo crazy that the police are involved with that whole thing. I think next episode we'll run into doppleganger Nikki once more.

Mikah: I think there is a whole side to this kid that we don't know yet. Especially given that his father, DL, is a phaser and his mother, Nikki, had a doppleganger. Seeing as this is a DNA/evolution based show, the genes should be passed down:

Nathan: 1-word..selfish. Seriously .. his brother loves his, adores him, respects him and he feels the need to run Peter's good name because he happens to want to be in the political field. A perfectly good abilitiy, flying, wasted on an evil man. It is how villians are born.

Peter: Poor Milo .. I just want to jump into the TV and hug the livin stuffin out of him. Im in agreement, I think he is an absorber, like Rogue, but without the funkadelic kill instinct.

Syler: I think there is more to him than we expect. No one has that many abilities without a cause. I think he has a more advanced absorber power, the kind where you keep the person's power. So far from tonight, he appears to have Gene Grey's mental ability to move inanimate objects and force people to do things they don't want to do. It's all the same power, all mental. He also appears to have the Wolverine insta-heal ability or maybe perhaps some sort of armour like Captain America. I don't think it would be the insta-heal as no one so far has had the same power .. so it may be a better bet to guess he has an insta-armour instead. But then again, he also appears to have the ability to phase and since he was a white guy, it is safe to assume the creep who tried to go after the girl wasn't DL. Lol to keep going, perhaps he has a freeze ability which allows him time to eat the brains of other Hero's or even a shapeshifter. Either way we know he has Telekenesis and that much is for sure. How creepy is it that he was able to clear out the room that fast ..INSANE!

Matt: Poor guy! His wife sucks .. he obviously cares or else he wouldn't of been so happy to tell her about his day. And how sucky was it that the guy took him out! So either his b33r was drugged or the creepy dude took him out. Either was, Matt was playing with his powers and there was no thoughts comin out of his head and then BOOM out like a light. I think he got taken out personnaly just because of how he went down. And next week he gets experiements on apparently from the preview by Claire's father. I guess we will find out what Creepo daddy does for a living.

Eden: She's a plant ... she had to be. She is far to convenient and hello .. she found the thing in the laptop. Either she is a good plant or a bad plant .. I think bad. Especially since she was with Mohinder when they went to Sylar and then boom .. Sylar is gone.

Claire: O...M...G...!!! Thank bob for that healing power for she would have been dead by now. First her neck snaps at the football practice and tonight she get that thing through the neck and taken to the coroner where she comes to .. only to find .. HER BODY IS OPEN. Seriously .. OMG. I don't even know where to begin. First off, Mister Quarterback is going down. He came off so sweet and everything, and then tried to *ahem* her and ended up "killing" her .. messed up!

The Squiggle: Anyone else notice creepy dude in the bar and the squiggle around his neck is IDENTICAL to the squiggle not onlyon Mohinder's father's book but Claire's bio book as well!

I was at a Thanksgiving gathering tonight, so I missed portions of the show. I did tape it though, but found the Niki parts relatively uninteresting, and I fast-forwarded- I pretty much don't know anything about her story this week. I suppose I missed a crucial part though- could someone explain the whole Sylar freezing a guy thing? I did catch how he controlled bodies and was invincible though. I also skipped through portions of Mohinder's story- Eden's evil now, you say?

What this show lacks in likeable characters (ie. Petrelli brothers, Niki, Isaac/Simone) is more than made up for in the cliffhangers. My cousin's girlfriend nearly spit out her dinner when she saw Claire on the coroner's table! It's great that there's a limit to her power. I have to wonder what she's gonna do though- people think she's dead, but it'd be hilarious if she decided to take revenge on the footballer.

Still gotta love Hiro. His friend's on for the ride, and I'm totally hoping he won't ever get killed off. The banter between the two and whatever they do is just too good to give up. And I'm liking Matt's story too, and liked the creepy unreadable guy twist in the bar.

Not much in the Nikki department other than the fact that we learn the body where she buried the body's was possibly a member of some gang her husband, DL, was in/lead? The giveaway was a supposed skull ring. That's really it in the Nikki department

I am not sure if her "froze" a guy .. but if you remember Gene Grey and her Telekenisis .. it'd make sense if he had like hardcore Telekenetic powers since he'd be able to move things with his mind .. and stop them .. both inanimate and animate objects. This would explain how he is able to kill people with inanimate objects without finding them.

And Eden being evil is just a presumption .. I think she is to much of a coincidence not to be. She has conveniently "found" way too much. So I think she is a plant of some sort.

Likeable chararacter .. eh .. you need villains and Claire is a likeable character enough Plus Matt seems really interesting as does Claire's nerdy geeky guy .. who is really cute She does take on revenge next week apparently. She is fine after the whole coroner thing. She was dead until the inanimate object which was displacing .. maybe a vital artery of some sort .. out of her neck and boom she is back. No way of killing her unless you make sure she is unable to put herself back together. She apparently takes mister horndog quarterback on a joy ride in a car he won't soon forget.

And yes, Hiro is just plain awesomeness in a nutshell!

I am hooked from the moment it starts.

The Squiggle around creepy guys neck was also in a painting in Isaacs place. I think the creepy guy is D.L. and he made Matt pass out because Matt couldn't read him. He has some kind of power. I think he and Niki got together by chance obviously not knowing the other had a power and now Mika will have a great power too cause both of his parents have powers.

I think it's gonna turn out to be Good Vs. Evil with different characters on diffferent sides.

There are always more Good Guys than Bad Guys. Mohinder will be the leader of the good guys even though he has no power but I think it will be Peter that takes out Sylar because of the absorber ability. HRG guy will be the leader of the bad guys.

I could be wrong about Nathan turning evil but he seems to be quite selfish.

Can anyone tell me what the "phaser" ability is?

D.L. has the power of phasing, which is basically like Shadowcat's power from the X-Men, the ability to go through things.

And actually, the black guy at the bar IS NOT D.L., he's some other guy. Why? Well, on IMDb the list of characters has D.L. and "Mysterious Man". I looked back at the episode on NBC.com, and the guy at the bar is the "Mysterious Man". So, I'm guessing that this guy is either affiliated with Sylar or he IS Sylar. D.L. has not been shown yet.

That makes sense, because D.L. only has the phasing power, and the guy at the bar was probably blocking his thoughts from the cop, which explains why he fainted.

And I think Sylar has telekinesis, which is how he was able to fly, move the FBI agent's gun and arm, and how he was able to impale the woman in that house.

Well Kitty Pryde (X-men's Shadowcat) is (depending on who writes her) resistant to telepathy invasion due to her phasing powers. So I thought that the guy in the bar was D.L. and just explained it as a homage to Kitty. But now that we know that it's not D.L., I'm even more curious.

I wasn't sure if Claire was just at the coroners or if she was kidnapped by her adoptive father/someone else who knew her secret. Would her chest really be cut open if they could all tell that the cause of death was that she had a branch through her head? Probably not. I definitely think somebody picked her up (hence the previews where they say "We have to help the cheerleader!")

When they went to Sylar's house and it was all cleaned out, I was seriously creeped out. Nice use of the camera and lighting. Actually, Sylar was pretty creepy throughout the whole thing. When he was making the FBI agent hold the gun to her head (by the way, its Jean Grey, not Gene Grey I found the spelling error amusing, sorry. And the power to move inanimate objects is called telekinesis), I was pretty creeped out because of the helplessness of the matter.

Can't wait until next week.

Ok thanks for clearing that up for me, I just assumed D.L. was the mysterious man cause we haven't met him yet.

I HATE this show. They rejected me at tryouts. They said "real" superheroes couldn't try out for the show. Doubleyoo Tee EFF?

But really, because of the whole superhero thing... this has got to be one of my all time favorite shows!

I also think that there is going to be a division of characters.... Peter and Nathan are SO going to duke it out (especially since they are brothers, they have the same powers, and ones a good guy and one is a wiener.)

To make clear, the black guy officer parkman saw at the bar was NOT D.L..... im just restating the fact and agreeing... I'd recognize that face anywhere, after he played that rival role in "Drumline.".... it's some other creepy guy I guess.

Another thing about Sylar... theres a chance he could possibly be that Doctor/book author who Hiro and Ando have to find..... I wonder who/where he could be? - - - - Anybody else wonder if it's just a coincidence that the character's name is "Hiro"??

And last, they need to stop having Claire run into so many painful incidences by accident. It's one thing if she's purposely hurting herself, and I know that theyre trying to show what her power is, but the fact that shes been seriously injured without her intent like 4 times allready is a little unlikely.... unless she is the least lucky cheerleader in the world. Does anybody else recognize her? I just realised while watching this show that she was Malcom in the Middle's girlfriend... the one who he's sneak out to make out with! I knew i recognized her....

Weezel; I'm not sure who the doctor/book author is that you are talking about. I know Hiro wants to find Isaac Mendez, the author of the comic that Hiro is in. If thats the person you are talking about, that's the painter who paints the future when he is high.

I just thought of somethings else: Maybe Niki's other persona killed the guy with the skull ring she found in the desert. How else would her other person know the body was there? She left a map and shovel for her to dig there, that would mean she has been there before. maybe it wasn't D.L. after all.

And I also recognized Claire from Racing Stripes and Raising Helen.

I agree; it's a little odd how she finds herself in danger all the time.

And as for the actress, I recognized her from those Neutrogena commercials and while watching those commercials a long time ago, I realized she was the little girl in "Remember The Titans". She was the main (good) white coach's daughter. The one obsessed with football.

I meant the doctor/author that the two BROTHERS who can fly are looking for.... they have a copy of that book (I think two or three of the heroes had a copy of the book) but it was about genetics, and they said he just stopped working for the company but should be in new york this week so they wanted to find him.... thats who i meant

The Doctor/Author of the book is Dr. Suresh. Mohinders father. the one that was murdered in his cab by Sylar (we think, it was mentioned that the cab was torn apart) He can't be Sylar cause he's dead.
