I've been tryin to get into an account i created over 3 years ago. And it only lets you guess the birthday/password combo 3 times a day. I got the correct password, but I'm struling with the birthday. I know the year was 1985, because on my friends list, for a different account, the age says the account is 21 yrs old.

And now to my point....is it possible that after you've guessed the 3 times, and got them wrong, if you keep guessing the birthday, and get the right one, will it stil let you into the account? Or not?

I'm going through the same thing! The only thing you can really do is continue guessing. I e-mailed Neopets support yesterday. Hopefully I get a reply... eventually?

I assume so, I tried to get into my old account and I could guess the pw and birthday multiple times, even though it wasn't right. Did you lie about your age? If so, just guess until the combo is correct. Otherwise, no other advice.

I dont usually put my right birthday on side accounts. And my usual side account birthday is Oct. 31st, but that didnt work.

So it is possible to get into the account after guessing the combo worng after the allowed 3 times?

It's possible. Just extremely tricky. I'll let you know what Support says to me if they ever get back to me/if you still can't get into your account.

Thanks...I'm in April now....several more months to go. And I just want to know if I have any items on the account or not. And if there is, I'll transfer them to my main account, and then be happy.

Not only do I have 2 pets on my side account, but a bunch of Snowbunnies I had been hoarding in hopes that they would increase in price (they have) along with a bunch of miscellaneous PetPets I'd like to sell now.

I've just been trying random days so far; nothing systematic. Perhaps I should start.

if you want to know the DOB you put and they're on your friends list, a slow way to find out is to check it every day / every couple of days and wait for the age to change - that'll tell you the birthday.

I couldn't remember if there were any more NeoFriends on that account other than my main account, or the oodles of pets I had created and grew tired of in my early years, and my pets had no items attached to them, and I also could not remember any previous passwords AND to make it worse, the e-mail I created the account with is no longer in service, and even though I've had a few, I have no idea which one I was using at the time of creating the account. Or if I even used my real e-mail at the beginning, considering I didn't put my real name or B-day (I use my real e-mail now, though, since it's better). I talked extensively about what I had in my SDB, and also what I had in my shop stock priced at 0, so hopefully that will be enough.

I'll let you know how it goes for me, but basically, I suggest you send in a form. I got fairly quick response so far.
