TNT released Sophie in the News on July 11 2005 (for Ixi Day).

isn't sophie from bogshot village/swamp? maybe we'll be able to go there during or after the plot

I remember buying some bogberries just in case. Supposedly they are the only cure for some disease or other. Anyway, I got mine!

Doesn't Sophie make potions? That would make sense in the plot, if Sophie is the town's last hope (as the TCG says) and it was a potion that started this whole mess in the first place. And huzzah for another comic coming out *generally* soon! Let's keep with the consistent, quick pace, TNT! d-(^_^)z

Btw, I had no idea that PetPet Cannonball had come out during the time that Geraptiku came out! I swear PetPet Cannonball is older!!

I think it's interesting that both comics so far have been entitled "Prologue" - I wonder what's coming after it?

I also wonder why people think this is going to be a war? But then people have speculated that about every plot since the LDP. Much as I'd like one I can't see anything in any of the comics so far that suggest they might be leading to a war.

And finally that character looks to me more like the comic portrayal of Jekyll & Hyde than any other suggestion.

I believe there was some reference in the Editorial to a war set in the Haunted Woods...however, this reference was way back around the time of the Lost Desert Plot, if the reference was made at all. My memory isn't what it was. Maybe one of you energetic youngsters can find what I'm talking about.

My theories as to a war:

1. TNT stated something in an Editorial that the next big "thing" would be at the Haunted Woods.

2. Haunted Woods (TCG) has a story laid out.

3. "Coming Soon" in the news has 2 site content coming - Spooky Monsters and Halloween. (A Halloween/Haunted Woods plot)

4. Apparently there is an article/articles in the Neopets Magazine talking about a Haunted Woods plot.

5. When you first get your prizes for the Altador Plot:
Altador smiles. "I hope that suffices. I regret that we couldn't provide more choice, but as I said, things are still a bit chaotic around here. And after all, this wasn't on the scale of what happened to the Lost Desert, or what will soon be happening in--" He stops. "Ahem. Nevermind."

Points to a big event coming soon.

I'm trying to figure out... who is the main villain we're fighting here? What is Krawley's connection to Ilere? Why would Reginald just hand over Sophie to a notoriously evil Faerie? This plot is making less and less sense by the minute.

Split. :)
