Yes, that's right, yesterday the search engine we all know and love (or hate), Google, turned the ripe old age of 8.

I found a news post honoring Google's 8th birthday, and they went managed to find a cached version (from some other site) of Google's original logo. It looked like someone had fun with the WordArt in Microsoft Word.

I read an article about the creators and the company in Time magazine once. I don't remember anything from it, though, except for that thing with the billboard, where they had some insane math problem and the answer was a website address, and people who got to the website found there were even harder problems, and if they solved those, they were offered a job.

My mom's friend is all into Google. Google Earth, Gmail, etc.....
