Hiragana→てぃもしー ばーとれっと
Katakana→ティモシー バートレット

帝夢、碇夢
second of both means dream. One of my fav kanji :P
There is no 'ti' kanji, so both read 'teimu'

Ooh so nifty!

If you've got the time, I'd love to have ones that say David, Lindsay (phonetically LIN-zee), Meaghann (MEG-in), and Laurynn (LORE-in)

Many thanks! So cool!

兎(rabbit)
明(bright) 銀(silver)
楼(sakura) 蓮(lotus)
帝is used for words like 帝国(empire)

The meaning doesn't really mean all that much when it comes to names. Mostly, it just should look cool :P

So, am I correct in understanding that hiragana and katakana are kinds of Japanese letters? And then the other ones, the complicated ones, are those Chinese letters?

I'm sorry to have to show my ignorance but I guess I'd rather ask and learn than stay ignorant!

Thank you!! (PS the kids are going to love seeing their names!)

No problem :P

Hiragana and kanji are used for like '見る’(see) and Katakana is used for non-Japanese words.
Kanji (complicated ones :D ) was originally from China, but the Japanese kanji have sort of reformed from the original Chinese. So, yes and no, they're Chinese.....
Probably no.

Ouchy sorry Sparrow, I did them on the day after you requested, but completely forgot to upload it :(

DeYFiD
LiNZEE
MeGHiN
LeWRiN

Last two were kind hard to do - there is no G (as in grass) in the arabic language so usually K is used, but seeing as there is a GH sound, I thought it would be more appropriate (sounds kinda like a purring cat, gargling with mouthwash).

Laurynn was hard to get the LORE part in, so I asked my mum and she told me I should write it like this :P

Enoy ;)
