Ok, this whole thing is just so weird. After getting my initial prizes, my 2nd day prizes, and my third day prizes, King Altador is showing the initial prize page again.

It's random, from a specific pool of items I suppose, and if you're lucky enough, you might even get the same thing three times in a row

The same exact thing is happening to me too! I got my initial prizes, and then my 2nd & 3rd day prizes. When I went back today to "Collect Your Gift", the original 1st day prizes page was showing, the one that doesn't have the 'Collect Your Gift" button. It doesn't actually give me the original prizes again though. It doesn't give me anything!
