There need to be more entry-level paintbrushes and training methods if TNT wants new users to stick around.

In theory, yes. That is assuming the people who win the paintbrushes want to sell them...they could be used or gallery'd.

I love neopets and we give TNT a lot of crap, but over all they do ok. The one thing they do need to change is that the site has to go back to being user friendly. Keep it safe and clean yeah, but make it fun and playable for those who put the money in their pocket.

That's pretty much how I feel. I adore Neopets, and I appreciate the fact that's it's there for us to use and to enjoy, but at the end of the day Neopet's is a multi-million dollar business and it's us the "common Neopians" that keep the business alive it's us that puts the money in their pockets, and I'm not just talking about Premium members who do pay real money, it's all of us even those that don't pay. We bring the sponsers in, which in turn brings them money, lots of money.

I felt overwhelmed and almost quit when I first started, 3 months ago. But luckily I stuck with it and set myself a reasonable goal to start with, a shadow paint brush. I got it in two months ^_^ But now I'm making NPs much slower than I was at first, and the things I want seem impossible to get.
I really wish they'd release more of these expensive things so they'd deflate a little bit. A challenge to get the stuff you want is good, but it seems to be getting a bit out of hand.

Jeez, I can't imagine the pirate brush going up any more! 3 mil is painful enough! *sighs* Will I ever have my pirate eyrie?
