when i click the link on the neopets website and i download it, it downloads a notepad file, so is there any other way to download the neopets toolbar?

Hmm, that's strange o_O What is the name of the notepad file? Is it Setup_Toolbar? If it is, try renaming the file to end with a .exe instead of .txt. Are you sure you downloaded it from the right place? It should be: http://toolbar.neopets.com/

It's worked for me every time I have downloaded it (apporximately 7). You may have not downloaded the right file.

I figured there would be a lot of adware associated with it so I never downloaded it. Has it been OK for everyone?

as of now, there is absolutely no adware associated with the neopets toolbar. it's only useful for the TWG alert though
