Rightyo, now I'm fully aware that to make the most NP, one has to be a master Restocker. I now and again attempt to restock in the Post Office, and can make around 10k if I'm lucky. I have Broadband, so quite a fast connection.

Now does anyone have any tips for me? What shops to Restock in, what items to look for, etc? I'd greatly appreciate any help

MindyEdit: Since there's been quite a spike in similar topics, this is the thread to discuss all restocking tips and issues now. Please don't create any new threads on this subject. thanks! :)

Yes. Restocking is good for the wallet. Unless you're in a shop that has overly inflated prices (i.e. Battle Magic) all the items over 5000 np are good [there was this news one day saying all 5k+ items are r90+, something like that]. The restocks start on the minute.

Is it strictly every 8 minutes, or is it maybe sometimes 7 mins, sometimes 9, etc?

Igloo Garage Sale --- In my opinion the BEST shop to restock in. Prices are ridiculously lower than the main shops, yet more people restock in the main shops than in the Igloo. Be sure to look for interesting looking chocolate, odd books, any negg, petpets, among other things. I can make atleast 100K a day if I'm lucky.

Faerie Petpets --- Look for Faellies. These usually sell for about 18K here, and sell for atleast 210K. I restocked two yesterday. But the competition here is overwhelming, I missed three of them.

Book Shop --- I started restocking here a couple days ago, and almost EVERYTHING there can be sold for a higher price. A very good starter restocking shop, IMO.

Thats a real snaggle-toothed needlepoint jalopeno! A truly strawberried television!

I used to restock in the book shop, yet was only making 100-500np profit per book, about 3k each RS.

As for timing, it's not strictly anything. It can be hours between restocks, or they can restock every minute.

The one thing about restocks is that they always start on the zero-second mark of a minute. I have a tab always open to either the toy shop or the potions shop, because they restock first in my experience, and if they suddenly have items in them at the one-second mark, or two seconds, then I know to click over to the shop I'm actually working and start buying stuff.

I really shouldn't keep making this public - there'll be more competition.

Heh, I won't bemuch competition. Here's what I've managed to RS so far tonight: http://www.neopets.com/browseshop.phtml?owner=liamu02

Still working on the stamps as I have an idea of their wiz price. Could be better, at this rate I certainly won't be making my millions through restocking :(

Does the Igloo restock on the minute like the rest of the shops?

Regarding the Igloo Garage Sale: yes, it does.

You can easily make millions restocking. The hardest part of it is the research - knowing what to buy, and what to avoid, even though it looks good.

Stamps is a good shop for a newbie restocker, by the way, because the competition at the start of restocks is so weak - I think the big-money restockers shoot for potions or toys, and then kick over to places like stamps a little later to try to get a little extra cash.
