Ekkid stared at Shiloh's leg as she tried to move it. He shook his head in sorrow. The leg did not move an inch.

"I am afriad that you are now paralyzed on your leg. You won't be able to put up much of a fight like this. We can't fight like this." Ekkid lifted Shiloh slightly off of the ground. He picked her up the rest of the way. He laid her head back onto his shoulder. He used his telekinesis to push against the ground. Since he was not strong enough to lift the Earth, it pushed him up into the air. He floated quickly to the door, pushing against the ground. He moved outside, moving into the forest. He wanted to place her out of harm's way, away from Martio.

Martio flew out of the forest and back into the building. He could not see Ekkid or Shiloh anywhere. He floated in the doorway to the building, looking into the main room from where he was. Ekkid walked up slowly, not noticing Martio there. He bumped into him, knocking both to the ground. Ekkid latched on to Martio, not letting go. Martio flew up into the air, kicking at Ekkid, trying to knock him loose. Ekkid would not let go, and clung too tightly to Martio for the kicks to do much damage.

Ekkid looked down at the ground far below. He saw that smoke rose from the forest. The smoke was almost as high as them. A tree was beginning to tilt. It was an extremely rare occurrence for one of the giant sequoias to be tilting, but one did. It fell against another one, and Ekkid saw a flash of fire appear. (He had a sneaking feeling that Shiloh had found Isaac.)

Martio flew up into the real clouds, ones that he had not created. He created some lightning and struck Ekkid, which only served to empower Ekkid further. Ekkid gave Martio a small zap and pulled at the Earth. The pair hung still in the middle of the cloud, each power outweighing another. Martio let go of his invisibility and gained the upperhand. They climbed a few inches before Ekkid let his rock armor harden. That pulled the two downward as the full weight of the armor was released upon Martio's ability to fly. Ekkid yanked on the Earth as hard as he could.

The pair began to plummet to the ground. Ekkid looked below and steered them toward the clearing where the leaves had exploded. Martio completely let go, now afraid. Ekkid tried to pull up on the brakes, but was unable to. He twisted himself below Martio and reactivated his rock armor, wrapping it around both of them. All that he could see was a look of sheer terror in Martio's eyes. Martio watched the ground approach. He lost control of his faculties and blacked out long before they actually hit the ground.

The blow created a large crater in the ground, and Ekkid blacked out as soon as his back cracked.

Shiloh had fallen and gotten out of the way of everything, watching it all in shock. Her eyes widened after a few moments. "Oh God..." Forgetting all about her leg, she got her hands and knees and began to crawl over to the crater-like hole. "Ekkid?" She looked around quickly, her heart hammering, hoping that Isaac appeared out of nowhere. She honestly couldn't think...Things were rushing around in her brain too fast for her to keep up or even grasp.

Isaac woke with a start as a tree came crashing down uppon him, effeciently forming a ramp to freedom. The only problem was, he didn't know where he was. He climed down the ramp and looked arround. He didn't have to look far to figure out where the otehrs were. He ran over to Shiloh, noticing the burn on her leg.
"Where's Ekki- oh..." He started, still 20 feet away, then seeing Ekkid's body in the crater. Isaac immedietly ran down into the crater and saw the blood comming from Ekkid's head. He swore, knowing he couldn't do a thing for either of his friends, he didn't have enough power left. He cursed himself for taking the strength from Ekkid's shadow. If Ekkid still had his shadow, Isaac could do something. Shiloh's shadow hadden't been Waken, so he couldn't help her either. He felt more usless than he had ever been before.

Shiloh had no clue what to do. All she could think of was...
"We need to get him out of here," she said hoarsly, getting to her feet slowly and leaning on a nearby tree for support. Her palms had a light glow to them still, only this time it was stronger.

"yes, but you're in no condition to walk either." Isaac said, "and I don't think we CAN move Ekkid. He just fell 200 feet, he might have broken his back or something." Isaac subbenly realized that he couldn't move his right wrist.
"I think I broke my wrist. "He said as if it wasn't a big problem. "I can try to go back for help, but we need to make sure Martio won't escape or hurt either of you." He walked to where Martio lay, trying to think of a way to confine him. Suddenly, he had an idea.
"Shiloh, can you make fire hold its shape for an extended period of time?" He asked her.

"Somewhat...You want me to around Martio?" she replied, straightening up a tiny bit and rolling her sleeves up.

"I think, if we work together, we can make a fairly strong cage for him." Isaac said, starting to draw shadow, a very hard task with only one hand.
"I need you to reinforce the bars I make with fire." Isaac straitened the shadows out and started to put them arround Martio.

Shiloh only nodded, concentrating on the shadows. Soon enough, they were lit with a swirling white-blue fire. She sat on the ground, leaning her head against the tree and the flames grew just the slightest bit.

Isaac looked over their work, then turned to Shiloh and said, "I'm going for help, you need to rest. If Ekkid wakes up, tell him where I am. If Martio wakes up, do everything you can to stop him" He turned to go towards the school then hesitated. He turned back and gave Shiloh a quick hug. "Be careful" he wispered, and then he was gone.

Shiloh watched him leave and then looked back to the other two. She closed her eyes for a few moments and rubbed them. "Gee...this morning when I woke up, everything was normal. Then we decided to go out for a walk and maybe get some fresh air and then all this happens!" Shiloh opened her eyes again and sighed heavily. "If my guitar wasn't destroyed, maybe I wouldn't be as peeved." She glared at nothing in particular and then decided to quit complaining.

Isaac was running through the woods toward the school. I hope the Headmaster is in his office! he thought to himself. He tripped over yet another root, hurting his wrist farther. and I hope I can get his wrist fixed after all the damage it's takeing he thought with a wince.

Teachers and other officials were out and about around the school, some yelling orders, others following them. Soon enough, the headmaster came bustling out of the entrance doors, an angry look to his face with one other elderly teacher behind him who had an even mroe wickeder look to her.

He saw the Headmaster walking outside.
"Headmaster!" He yelled, out of beath. "Martio attacked Shiloh, Ekkid, and me! Shiloh and Ekkid are still back there, Ekkid is relly hurt and Shiloh couldn't walk. Ekkid took Martio down and Shiloh and I improsioned him." He took a deep breath and continued. "Ekkid is bleeding all over and he's unconsious. Shiloh's got burns all over her leg and is cut up aswell." He finished, taking deep breaths and wincing every time he moved his right hand.

All the teachers and officials stopped, looking at him and the headmaster looked over his shoulder at the woman. Nodding, she moved foreward and took Isaac's wrist gently and placed it on her other palm. It glowed and the soft light reached around his wrst and his entire hand and in minutes, it was healed. The woman stepped back again. "Now. Show me where they all are," the Headmaster said.

He looked at the teacher, just now noticing her, being completely focused on his task. "Thank you." He said to the teacher, "There in the woods, follow me" He said then took off running back the way he came from.
