So currently the jackpot is at 752,279,200 NP at 2:16 am NST.

Now in my point of view I don't see Neopets handing out 750mil+ to one VERY lucky random Neopets user if the jackpot is hit and to be honest at this stage I do not think the jackpot is possible to win. But in saying that whats the point of a jackpot if it is not winnable? Unless I am mistaken and it has been won before and this 750mil is just months worth of build up since then?

Im interested to see what peoples theories are one this, one I have is possibly something happening once it reaches 1,000,000,000 (one billion neo points for those of you that get confused with too many zeros), maybe something like, a million NP going to the person who hits it right over 1billion and the next person also getting a million NP and so forth until it is back down to zero (or around about that as it will go back up slowly since you have to pay 100 NP to hit it) which if my calculations are correct would mean the first 1000 users to hit it after its reached 1 billion would get 1 mil each.

Thats just my theory though, and I would love to be apart of that if it happened hehe

Someone decompiled it. I don't think it's possible to actually get the jackpot.

Now I do have a farfetched theory, WHAT IF 1000 users (or less) synchronised themselves to do it at the same time, exact second and THEN it would succeed and the jackpot being divided into the group?

I think it's just a joke. Nobody's ever scored higher than 90 that I can tell, and I think you would need a 100 to get the jackpot.

There are many jackpots around neopia, from scratch cards, buried treasure to slot machines. Have anyone really hit any jackpot?

I guess my closest is hitting 5 chests on Black Pawkeet Slots, giving out 500,000 np. It's great but I still lose it all... imagine losing 50,000 on each game. 10 games and I am back to square one.

Would you honestly want to win 750 million neopoints? Could you ever possibly spend that much? Yeah, you could paint all your pets, buy a fantastic BD set, complete your gallery/collections, obtain formerly unobtainable avatars....but then what? After you've done everything (which, with that amount of money, you could probably do in a day), what's left? The game would just be boring.


I mean, once you're so rich that you can do everything easily, what accomplishment is there to be derived from acheiveing anything?

I've won the Dice-a-roo jackpot plenty of times. Once got around 100k with the 10x multiplier.

I'd probably start adopting pounded pets and painting them so they could be more desirable, or something similar that wasted my time and made me feel good.

I think I could spend 750 mill on my gallery, pets, battelledome training and panopoly, and neohome and still need more to finish all I would want to do.

I doubt the jackpot will ever be won by someone now. I recall a time (forget when but it was quite a long time ago) when some user actually DID when the jackpot (It was nearing...100 million I think? Correct me if I'm wrong). Apparently they lost it all when they tried to deposit it into their bank. I don't know of this user was cheating though.

Are you joking? Of course I wouldn't be bored. It would be so much fun! Are you telling me that saving NP and making due with what you have is really that exciting?

It would take a long time to collect all the stuff that anyone could possibly want. Then after stamp collecting and training pets and creaming everyone in Battledome, then there are neohomes and avatars and sharing NP with friends, gourmet club, book club. Gosh, to really be bored you'd have to not have much imagination.
