I know it's been brought up before about if you don't log in for a while then you have to enter your birthday along with your password. I searched all the threads here and they all say after 6 months. Unfortunately I think they changed that, because I haven't logged into a side account of mine for 130 days now (which is about 4 months), and it won't let me in without the birthday. That shouldn't have been a problem, but I must have entered a different birthday for some reason, or typed it in wrong. I don't know why I would have put a wrong birthday, I entered the correct one for my other accounts. o_O Either way, it won't let me in. Does anyone know how many times you can try to enter the correct birthday before it stops checking? If you enter the wrong password after 5 times (I think) it makes you stop guessing. But I haven't gotten a message for guessing my birthday yet, and I'm past 5. I don't want to enter a whole year's worth of bday's to find that it wasn't really checking them lol. (and I already sent in a lost password form, hoping to get a reply)

As long as the password is correct you have an unlimited amount of tries, I had to go through 11 months before I got the right date.

It helps if you add the account you're trying to log into as a NF. That way, you can see the age and guesstimate on the month and year based on the age. Woo.

Yeah, luckily I have this one as a neofriend to my main account, so I know what year it is, just not what day. But I went through and made sure that all my accounts are neofriends with each other, and my husband's too.

Oh, BeDeviled, I could kiss you!!! My daughter stopped playing (typical 13 year old) and three months later wanted to play again. When she set up her accounts, I didn't let her put in her real birthdate. Because I didn't know what Neopets was back then. I didn't know if the info would be shared, etc. And better to be safe than sorry. And now neither one of us can remember the blasted birthdates she used. We have the year (thank God) because I neofriended her accounts. Just not the actual day and month. Oh, this looks like it is going to be a fun project. Once I figure them out, I am writing them down.

Oh, and by the way, the lost password request won't help. It will give you the password but not the birthdate. :(

Not the automated one, the one where you have to fill out all that info. I got a reply (probably auto) from Heidi already, but I'm going to try to figure out the date on my own tonight first. :)

When *does* the birthday log in start? Is it after 3 months now?
