UGH!!!
This is so freakin' annoying. I'm getting a lot lately. I had it happen to me on 250Free a while back, and it literally froze my computer to the point I had to shut it off via the pushbutton. And I'm on Linux!

Is there a way I can report this? I think I have a clue on what it is, but I'm not sure.

Hi. What is 250Free? Do you have a URL of a page which crashed your computer? What browser do you use? Which plugins/extensions/addons are enabled in your browser?

The obvious answer seems to be you stumbled upon something which is Windows-only. I think that could be Shockwave as that is not available for Linux. If you run x86/i386 32 bit (you probably do) then you can run Codeweavers Crossover to run Shockwave in Mozilla (Firefox). This costs money, though is also available on P2P networks.

I'm using Mozilla. And I can already run Shockwave in Mozilla.
250Free was a host I used. I don't use it much anymore, though.

There are more Neopians who use Linux? Wow, I thought I was the only heathen out here.

What annoys me most are the Shockwave games (not that many fortunately, but three of them give avatars..:() and the recent wave of Flash 8 things. The Neopian Plaza and Bazaar both show a warning, but then run the same SWF file anyway, which looks exactly the same here as on my mom's computer.

Firefox doesn't do that to me, but Internet Explorer does.
