Tongiht ads started to appear in my neopets premium account.

Anyone else on premium getting ads? Sigh. Part of the reason I signed up for premium was that it was ad-free. :x

Maybe you didn't pay? It happens sometimes when you forget to pay on time, so I just ended up buying the yearly plan xD But yea, that's the only reason I could think of o_O

forget to pay? No, cause I have access to neopets premium and mail, SSW, etc. I'm at the premium portal, going to different places. I sent a neomail to TNT, probably will have to deal with it till after the weekend.

My payment is taken out of my checking acct automatically, and do not think maybe it is a credit card or bank error..I work for the bank. <G>

My premium account is fine, I am just getting ads at the bottom of my screen, like at wheel of excitement, etc. I went back to the wheel and it's not there now, let's see...I just got one at the bottom of the gameroom menu, for classmates.com

Sigh. <grumble>

I'm premium, and I am not getting any ads either at the bottom of the screen.

I just double checked the bottom of the games screen, and nada.

Same thing happened to my friend earlier. She got ads and she's been premium for several months now. I'm premium too and had no ads.

And as you can see, I'm in the portal, so my premium is there.

Edit: They're now at the bottom of every single page for me.

I tell you what, this is making their claims of "no banner ads" to be false advertising. The Better Business Bureau would be very interested to hear about it. But instead of jumping the gun, I say we report it first, and give them a chance to fix their "mistake"... perhaps a week?


This is absolutely infuriating.

I am not a premium member but have been seeing those long banner ads where they usually are not, for instance when i have been doing my dailies, on the survery shack find the 250 np page and the Coming Soon find the 200 np page, never used to have banners down the bottom there but have noticed them latley

Apparently, only some users are affected by this glitch of ads. If you are getting them, send in a bug report with your username, so they can keep track of who is getting the ads. I don't know if there's a pattern or if it's just random with who gets the ads and who doesn't. I've been getting them since last night. The formatting on the page goes all out of whack and they seem to all be ads from RealMedia. I hope this is fixed on Monday.

I just bought a year subscription to Premium, so I'm definitely paid up. I'm really annoyed about this. It also seems to be upsetting my page width, which means I have to scroll over to use the Premium right hand side bar. I have to say I'm not impressed by this. I've already complained.
