Okay, I recently pounded all of my pets on my side account and made a new Neopet for a fresh start. And well, I started labbing him from the first day. It's been about a week now but every single day I've zapped him I've got the dreaded "and nothing happens". It's really starting to get on my nerves, and I sent in a bug report. Is it just a streak of bad luck, or is it my lab ray?

*knocks on wood* I haven't had that outcome yet. Today it changed my pet's gender. *knocks on wood*

I think something's wrong and I hope TNT can repair it for you.

I'm sure it's just bad luck! Keep on trying for a few more days and you'll probably get something more exciting!

I've been having that problem with the petpet ray on and off for a month (only name changes, soot, and the occasional disappearing petpet), but today it finally seemed to kick itself out of it and gave me a pirate Albat.

So just give it some time, and hopefully it'll even itself out soon.

Hopefully. I'm gonna find another pet in the pound to zap just to see if its my lab ray, or the pet im zapping. If it works for the adopted pet then I'll try again the next day on the pet I created.

The simplest explanation is still coincidence, but I agree that seven consecutive outcomes of what should be a >5% chance is reason for an extra experiment.

I've noticed when I zap sometimes certain pets 'dont like' to be Zapped. Meaning I will go through alot of 'nothing happens' type deals before the ray actualy does anything good.

You can totally lend it to me and see if you just got a faulty lab map set Lol jk...

Hopefully it's just bad luck... Like me and my five years of not winning at Fruit Machine, but I'm not bitter.

What species of pet is it? I think you (usually) get the "nothing happens" message when it wants to change color, but the color it wants to change to doesn't exist for the pet... so something like a lutari, with only four colors, would get the message more often. But yeah, a whole week of it is very odd.

The pet is an Eyrie. And I created him, so its not like he was anything before hand. His name is Kintorn, so if that was some pet before that was deleted, maybe that could be the reason? But he didnt have a description or battledome stats like most "deleted" pets do. -shrug-

I got a "changes gender" outcome for two weeks straight. Sometimes you just have a really bad run of luck.

I've had hit point increases for five of the last six days. I wouldn't complain except I'm just labbing him until he changes color (trying for a coonut JubJub), and this little mutant level 1 freak already has 27 hit points.

Well, I tried again today with a different pet and guess what. "and nothing happens".

That is really unusual. I often have runs of nothing but not for that long. I am trying for an interesting color, but so far have had nothing, change gender, loses stats and level, and some change species, increase speed.

I know. It's really weird. All my other lab accounts are fine, it's just jnco654. It's crazy. I just hope TNT emails me back and atleast fixes it or something.
