What sucks the most is that Cingular sucks, all of my friends said it was fine at first, and then after the month when they could've cancelled, all their receptions become total crap, and started dropping calls. My best friend would completely miss calls and get notified of a voice mail like 6 hours later. I was lucky that my mom put me under her plan with Verizon. So, yeah it sucks they contracted with the mentally challenged adventures of Cingular because I would be willing to check out Lutari Island for at least a month.

I'm already paying for premium, and now they want me to pay another $2.99 a month to have Neopets on my phone? FORGET IT. Especially since it was said - cingular bites.

One would assume that we put them on the talismans.

Gone, forever.

I've had Cingular for years now. I really like it. I don't get dropped calls. Maybe all of your cell phones are just crap. It's time to upgrade people...this is the 21st Century.

That's not fair at all. I had a brand new (for the time) Cingular cell phone a year ago, as did everyone else in my family, and the frigging thing dropped calls EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. It didn't seem to matter where I was, nor what kind of phone (as my parents got different models than the siblings); the service was shoddy at best, and as soon as our contract ran out, we switched to Verison (which has problems of its own, but is a hundred times more reliable in my experience).

Even if I still used Cingular, I still wouldn't be applying for this Lutari Island program, at the risk of using more megabytes than my plan's willing to cover. Isn't it 10 cents extra for every MB you browse over your assigned limit?

also, you need to take into account the coverage in different areas... I've been in places where my cingular wouldn't work, but my brother's verizon worked fine, and vice versa. I don't think you can just blame the phones, especially when both companies may have some of the same phone models.

I have T-Mobile, love it, get reception ALMOST everywhere except for in the cul-de-sac in my dad's neighborhood because it's far from a tower.

Pinkflamingonewsgirl, good job with the catty comments there, they really make you seem very mature. Please, do take into account the discrepancies in reception that are just par for the course--like I said above, T-Mo doesn't get a good reception in a cul-de-sac that's far from a tower. No cell phone company is perfect, but that doesn't mean you have to go all catty because some people haven't had as good an experience with Cingular as you have.

As for this Lutari Island junk? Forget it! If I get beads through random events, then that's okay, but that's the only effort I'm willing to exert on the subject. Besides, the talisman already looks pretty nifty sitting there on my userlookup. :)

From your Inventory, click on the bead and select "Put into your Talisman" from the drop down menu. The bead will then appear on your Talisman

Perhaps some people can't afford to get better phones? Even if the service was available in the UK I probably wouldn't be able to get it because the only phone I can afford cost £30, and it misses calls and texts and will barely give me enough WAP time to check cricket scores before it crashes.

Signature, eh? We'll see about that...

wow...10in2010...thanx for the compliment (10...is that how old you are? wouldn't surprise me). Actually, you don't know me and therefore cannot make the comment I'm immature. Thanks for the judgement though. Anyways. Didn't mean to offend people. Probably could have worded that better. I had another phone before with Cingular and had the same issues with dropped calls and such. As soon as I got a newer phone, I haven't had issues. I guess I just got tired of hearing people complain over something so stupid.
