As it says on the main page of Neopets. "Neopets® is the greatest Virtual Pet Site on the Internet. With your help, we have built a community of over 70 million virtual pet owners across the world! Neopets has many things to offer including over 160 games, trading, auctions, greetings, messaging, and much much more. Best of all, it's completely FREE!" Perhaps we should all complain to neopets staff. They are falsely advertising. They want our help and they say it's COMPLETELY FREE Lutari Island and the Cell Phones are against the code of Neopets.

Nice call there! now we got something plausible to say instead of "it's not fair"! this does go against their rules!

Anyone up to start doing a letter here and then we submit more things to it and when it's done someone (i could do it...) post a message with all of our names

yeah lotsa people are mad like hell with TNT because of the makeover. to be sincere if i had a robot jubjub all silver and cute and the other day i'd wake up and saw that... bling bling golden thing on the place of my lovely silver jub i'd freak out as well!

1. The main page of Neopets states that "With your help, we have built a community of over 70 million virtual pet owners across the world!" In the beginning The Neo Staff asked the "citizens" of neopia what they wanted the new paint brushes to be and we generally get to choose the new pets but, why do we not have a say when it comes to the overhauls on the pets? Many people are complaining that they dislike the new designs especially the JubJub. Shouldn't the population have a say on what occurs or is Neopia now run by Dr. Sloth??

2.The main page of Neopets states that the site is "completely free." If the site is completely free, why must you spend money to access Lutari Island?

It's pretty dumb if you ask me. But I guess this is why all these Lutari items are popping up.

And if you download it to your phone, you get this talisman added to your lookup:



And you collect beads and add to it to get stuff I suppose. All I know is you add beads.

And no, I dont have it. I just saw a userlookup that had the talisman on it.

EDIT It seems we ALL have the talisman. I didnt know this at the time of posting. My bad.

I find this odd. I have the Talisman on my lookup and I didn't download the game, unless it's a temporary promotional thing.

You're kidding... you not just have acess to a island and a pet, they also claim one thing that comes right against all of their ideals: users with BETTER LUCK because of the thing. this is completely off.

I sent a comment to Neopets :: The main page of Neopets states that the site is "completely free." If the site is completely free, why must you spend money to access Lutari Island? Lutari island is also only accessable to a select few of neopians because it is only offered on one cell phone service. Saying Neopets if Completely free when it's not is fraud.


Th news page doesn't say everyone will be able to go there. The mobile site says that Lutari Island is Exclusively Available on cingular. Ie. not available anywhere else.

Maybe everyone gets it and then when you get the Cellphone deal it changes with the Beads you get?

i have no experience in here, but woudn't it be better to write a letter and all of us put our names down in it...

they don't like to recieve the same letter 1.000.000 times.

Cel phone or not, beads or not, I hope I get to keep the Talisman. It looks pretty on my lookup.
