Its odd, using that link I can select things and rotate the map, but on the explore page I can't.

The top thing looks like Darigan Tower, but its not a floating island!

The spaceship thing is so annoying, I love the map though, its so pretty.

I'm really liking the lutari island, the foggy/dark theme is awesome

yeah... i was hoping they would make the citadel floating around like faerieland... its a world by itself too! The didnt have Quasala or Geraptiku teams in the altador cup... but they had a darigan citadel team.... they really should add it... theres no point to it floating over meridell anymore...

The must be holding off Lutari Island because of the altador cup.... having 17 teams would totally mess things up! Im assuming the cup will be an annual thing.... or follow along with the World Cup.... i wonder how they will deal with it later when there are more worlds....

and whatever happened to it being the Lost Continent of Altador? I thought it was supposed to be like... a seperate chunk of land.... a really big island... for like 2 and a half years they advertised it as a whole new continent on the backside of neopia!

I might be wrong, but after seeing some of the Lutari colours, I don't think the island is going to be dark/foggy oonce it's active. It's garish colours will probably burn our eyes, lol

Have you ever been really bored that you just kinda wander your mouse over random things....? Such as the new map...

Well as I was doing that, I noticed that there are some areas that will turn the cursor into the link hand thingie... But you still can't click it.... Does that mean they'll be new worlds? they're all over the otherside, and there's even some on the old side.

Very wierd.

Oh and I love the new map... My only complaint is Faerieland... But other than that, cool.

Does anyone have a screenshot or link to see Lutari Island? No matter what I try, I cant get the map to move or turn, or take me anywhere. I neeed to see what everyones going on about.

I like it! Truly sorry for those who have dial-up, but maybe TNT will fix that soon. It looks great though, and since there is much more open space now, looks like a few possibilities to add new islands and whatnot...

i too am on dial up, i can't even get the map to load *kicks AOL*
this is def. going to even further limit the time i spend on neopets... way to go tnt...

on the plus side, i see the picture someone posted, it looks nice in my opinion... i just wish they'd consider a lower bandwidth option as well

I love the way the places's names appear when you mouseover, it's easier to see where you're going and I'm excited for Lutari Island too. I suppose when it's release the fog will clear.

I'm not really liking the time wasted for this new map to load. The old non-Flash one was much more efficient. Normally I could configure my browser to update Flash files at longer intervals so that they don't have to be downloaded from scratch every time. This map seems to have to reload every time no matter what, or maybe it just seems that way because I'm always running a lot on my computers. They should just have a picture of each half of the planet and be done with it.

As for the map itself, I thought Meridell would be where Brightvale is.

And what happened to the city that's supposed to be next to Altador?

At least there are still text links under the map for those in a rush. ^^":

Has everyone else who's using dial-up been having problems? I use dial-up and have had no problems loading the new map.
