Blahblahblah.

What is Remember Front Page? Do they mean "Front Page," as in the front page of the Explore map? >_>

They put "REMEMBER FRONT PAGE" so they'd remember to put the front page image (the one you see on the "newsflash!" section of neopets.com) up. I'm pretty sure thats what it means.

I'm lovin' the new map...except for one thing. When you turn the map on it's side, Faerieland sticks out and it's REALLY annoying. It doesn't look realistic at all. Otherwise, I think its great! I'm glad that Brightvale was added to the map.

Also, I noticed something that looks suspiciously like Lutari Island! Does this mean that it'll be available to everyone, not just cell phone users? I hope so. *crosses fingers*

there's a low quality version (right click)

Low quailty =/= low bandwidth

You got it wrong. It's going to be a big, slow load regardless for those who have slow connections and/or computers. Something low bandwidth is usally something less frills, but can be easily accessible to all.

You know what I think would make the map even better?

If Faerieland actually floated around Neopia. If it moved randomly, that would be sweet. In "neo-reality" Faerieland moves around Neopia and it could be over any place, such as Altador, Mystery Island, etc.

Like Virtupets is supposed to do?
(Which totally freaked me out every time it passed by trying to find constellations during the Altador plot X_x )
That would be cool, as long as it's a slow drift.

I agree with Runevalkyrie. Another sloooow flash map to download on my dial-up connection is rather annoying. I know TNT's reasoning behind not offering HTML options for the new maps, since they explained it in the NT Editorial a few months ago, but I still miss them. I just don't go to the Lost Desert or any of the new maps anymore. I bookmarked all the shops, etc., so I can go there directly... :(

Looking to buy Snowbunny Stamp and Sticky Snowflake Stamp. If you're selling, please PM me!

This map is awesome! But since I don't want to take all day waiting for the map to load I'll just have to go to a dailies page instead.

I'm on cable even and I skip the maps altogether too. I don't pay this much to wait. Still, I think there's tons of other ways they could have gotten around the whole "we need to translate everything" deal. They could have just left versions of the maps up without names, maybe just symbols, and skipped the sponsor stuff. It's wouldn't hurt anything if people are just going to not use the new maps anyway.

i really wish they'd make Quigara a real world, it looks fairly interesting
i don't have a picture of it because the place i looked at it has the image gone now...
isn't the map just really 2 sided?
places either are accessable in the front and back side?
they could just stick the 2 sides on 2 thiniges
and voila!

I want to see the empty desert near the lost desert filled with something. Rather than a cliched desert area though, I'd like to see it as more of a desert bandits camp or something perhaps with a shop where you can purchase "discounted goods" (EG : Every Rarity 100 or below item can stock there for lower than its normal restock price, but the odds are lowered etc)

I like it, though I would have preferred to see a more smooth scroll option than a click to rotate.
