I noticed this a while ago but its getting closer. The jellyworld movie that is supposed to be released in winter 2006, think therll be a plot and acceptance of jelly world?

...A whattama what world? What are you rambling on about? Honestly. Next thing you know we'll be hearing about some sort of Faerie World. Oh... wait.....

I knew there was a neopets movie, but is the plot about Jelly World? I haven't heard anything on it, lately - anybody like to lift the rock off my head? ^^

I'm surprised they've kept that Winter 2006 thing up for so long, I assumed it would just change to a later date eventually. Wasn't that there while Adam was still in charge of Neopets?

A Neopets movie... *cringes at the thought* Suppose it'll probably be more for the little kids anyways.

There was sort of a Jelly plot... no there wasn't... yes, there was... at one point when all the petpets went missing so they could eat lots and lots of jelly or disappear to the Jelly world that doesn't exist or some such.

He runs the creative and running aspect of the site but I think some big American Company owns the name and stuff.. but don't quote me on that

Ot has nothing to do with the petpets, that was a glitch when they all disappeared and they covered it up. The movie will have something to do with jelly blobs of doom as thas were its advertised

I'll see it in a couple years when it's on regular cable tv lol, but wouldn't pay to see it...

Neopets was purchased by Viacom and is run through MTV, which Viacom owns. Viacom also owns Paramount Pictures and Dreamworks SKG. Viacom itself is partly owned by National Amusements, a large movie theater chain. To make a long story short, a movie would be quite possible and very easy for Viacom. I wouldn't be surprised if they eventually spun off a Nickelodeon cartoon, since Viacom also owns Nickelodeon.

I probably WOULD watch a Neopets movie to be honest, I'm sure that it would be quite funny, maybe like Shrek with some hidden 'adult' humour about it, which would be great.

The date changes every year. Last year it said "Coming Winter 2005"

*nods* I'm pretty sure the Jelly World movie is just a joke. Y'know, since there's really no Jelly World an' such.

As far as a Neopets movie, I'd probably be the only one in my family and circle of friends who'd be even remotely interested in seeing it, and I hate going to a theater by myself, so...I'd wait for it come out on DVD and rent it, I guess.
