From what I read, Lutari Island (aka In-Fusio Island) is only available via In-Fusio Mobile.

Read about it here with two scans from the Neopets magazine mentioning it as well as a link to Gamespot's article on it. Unless plans have changed and people heard different, I don't think it'll be on the web. I am hoping it will be. In my opinion, there is never too many places in Neopia to visit.

But then again, that would mean the whole thing with In-Fusio would be pointless. Unless the deal between In-Fusio and Neopets have fallen through. Who knows.

I think there will be alot of angry people if it is not released on the web. I know i will be upset, and it doesnt seem very nice to the 'kids' they market neopets too to give them something they cannot affoird to access.

From what I've been reading, Lutari Island will only be featured in the game that you download from In-fusio for your cellphone. The only way I see Lutari Island on the web for everyone is when the deal possibly falls through or simply expires.

I think that they wil release the island around July 5, as that is about when the altador cup will end

I really don't like this idea of Lutari Island being accessed only by cell phone.

What about the kids who are not allowed cell phones?
What about the high rates for going on the internet on a cell phone?
What about the people who have cell phones, but not the right cell phone carrier to access any of this stuff?

Just doesn't seem fair to me.

I agree with this and also think with Neopets doing things like this.. it makes them seem like they are being too 'commercial' towards things. Too many money making schemes these days.. sponsor games are fine and fun, ive even gotten over the Ads everywhere, but new lands only open to cell phone customers etc. (and certain cell phone customers too, i doubt we could get this in NZ) just pushes my buttons a bit too much.

I would understand if maybe it was a land only open to premium members, thats understandable.. cellphones is just annoying >.>

So true. But like, I work for an cell phone company, and so many people come in wanting cell phones, that they will be rarely using the internet on it, but still using it from times to time, but the fees can be quite high, especially if you are on a Pay-as-you-Go phone!!
