My pet's level one hundred and something, and all it's ever caught is junk. Nothing worth anything. I want to get everything on the list, but I'm still waiting for the books you can catch at level 20 and 30, the one with the Mynci on at 40, and nearly everything from level 50 +. -_- I half think TNT doesn't like me.

Maybe the species does have something to do with it? It seems to with the lab ray, but.. mine's a lupe, and I can only visit once a day or I don't get anything.

Did you try fishing only once a day - nearly 24 hours apart at least? If that doesn't work, wait two days before trying again. And make sure to recast your line after every try of you'll stand absolutely no chance.
If you did do it all right, it sounds you'll end up as unlucky as me. Sad but true - I've decided to only fish on the weekends, so that maybe I can get all the stuff I missed.

How often you reel in your line does make a difference. If you do it every 6 hours, you usually get junk, every 24 and I'm getting stuff like landfish and tanglepuss most of the time. Atm I'm going up a level every 48hours or so, but its slowing down. Im level 40ish.

Ahhh I haven't been casting my line again, I tried it, waiting two hours and it worked, I only got a piece of crappy driftwood, but I did go up a level, so thank you

yea, my pet is at 163 .. I've tons of "junk", broken neo-bags several times. I got the avatar long ago. Today I got the "Flask of Rainbow Fountain Water" .. I auctioned it for 1,510,000. BEST find I could have thought of getting in fishing!!!
