here are my two cents on the last faerieball argument:
just want to say I have no more probleme with it (even if in the start I was one of those who complained the loudest about it
), I can score with it in the first seconds
There is the spot where you should stand to shout. You should shout directly forward, just in the inside of the net. Excuse my pitiful talent with paint
(I'm not the one who discovered this, I take it from someone in this forum, but I dont remember who, if you recognise yourself, THANKS!!!!!
)
Be carefull not to be too close, or the ball will rebounce out of the net. But if you are accurate enough, the goalie will never have time to get it!
Another think, I dont know if this may help anybody, it's an habit I developed after the first round when I got VERY annoyed by their defender being just too smart. This is the path I usually follow to shout with all other balls, going around the defender, ironicly, prevents him from reacting at all (and it takes about one more second max)
And the only thing I really starts to hate now is the fireball. It's the only one they manage to score with, when they pass it backward on the kickoff, they just get the kick of shouting from afar, and when they do, pretty often I dont have time to get it. Or even more frustrating, my middle forward (well, my only forward, I play 3-1
) get it when they shout, but as I starts with my middle def, I dont have time to switch and they just go through, get it back and shout within seconds and score
Grrrr, that's the only situation still giving me trouble, luckily, it does not happens very often. And sorry for Roo supporter, their AI does seem to do it even less often then the practice team!
Well, I'm back on collecting victories, go LD, we will rule forever!!!!!
