Faerieball was the easiest for me to score with. I play 2+2 formation, get the ball and shoot straight at the goalie from about 15 yards out. It almost always curved around the goalie and in every time.

Also, I didn't notice any difference in difficulty between round 1 and today so far.

What on earth? How did faerieland do so badly? From reading PPT, I thought faerieland had the most people who were doing really well. (I personally was 70-0, and sent every score I got.)

It really must be weighted, and faerieland was the default 8-year-old girl team, or something...

Off to Roo, now.. and seeing as it had the lowest score of the winners, I think I'll need to work hard.

I'm completely following you! Due to finals, I didn't have that much time to contribute, but I did get 52 9-0 wins in for Faerieland... So I was really astonished to see Faerieland with the lowest score overall...

I personally don't think they're doing a great thing at organising this wholeve event... Cause in real life, when you participate such a sports tournament, you always know how scores will be calculated. That, and the bug where people switched teams without asking for it, makes me like the game less...

I won't quit however, I'll be supporting Roo Island too from now on!

Not positive(as I haven't tried it since my teams still in), but I think you can switch teams by going to the standings- my scores page, then clicking on the big team logo. It sends you to the join page, according to the url.

*sigh* And I thought my 100 games against Krawk Island would have helped a lot more o.o; Oh well, Since from now on I'm just choicing a team I want to be on instead of the winning team. So I think I'm going to join up with Brightvale since they are the only other team with a lupe on it.

We can't switch teams yet, the signups for the next round haven't started. I think I will be reverting to my 'Yay, pirates!' persona now...

Signature, eh? We'll see about that...

Personally I found it amazing that people thought Faerieland was going to win o_O though I didn't expect them to lose so badly. I'd still like a bit more info on how scoring was calculated.
Overall, I'm glad Roo Island passed, even though I know it will be harder now on.

lol, we got owned bad.

But if there's one thing we can tell from these scores, it's that they work with averages over added scores and that having lots of newbies on your teams is in fact a big handicap. Hopefully, all the nubati that joined faerieland and didn't play much/well at all will just stay out of the tournament now.

Also, obviously mystery island is going to catch a lot of opportunitists now for getting the highest score. I'd expect their next round score to be lower as a result.

Also, the computer opponents have definitely gotten harder. They pass and shoot a lot more agressively.

Just because Mystery Island scored the most means absolutely jack-diddly-squat! If the scores were cumulative, perhaps they'd be a good choice, but it's a good chance the scores will reset with the start of Round 2. This means that those of us who realize what is going on with the scoring now, will step up our games to completely destroy our opponents in the next round. People like myself, will be trying to improve upon already impressive win tallies to ensure victory because paranoia is no enemy when you KNOW you are crushing your opposition. I look forward to completely crushing the Citadel's next opponent with a greatly and vastly larger win tally. How big? Bigt enough to account for more than half of this round's total team points! However, I have a job, which makes that a not-so-easy-to-accomplish task. After I'm done with my service, it's hardcore crunch time to blow away opponents. Do I have any other DCs willing to try the annihilation with me?

Darigan Citadel needs YOU!

You, of course, being any Yooyu ball gurus out there now without a team. I would enjoy FRIENDLY competition, helps guarantee a victory.

I think I'll step up =)

Darigan was my first choice, but Faerieland won out because of the cute t-shirt and apparently fast players. Time to go back to the roots of my first and primary pet.

What? Don't bring me into this, I hate sports!

the non winning team with the highest score-Kreludor

I really halfed feared we'd lose because, i thought the haunted woods players would be lazy. like me.

we're...*counts* 6th place...more practice for me then, when i had school, i had a reason not to play

maybe neopets might stick kreludor back due to their hard effort.

YE HASN'T TOLD UZ THE BLOODY SCORING NEOPETS, *gets a pitch fork and torch*

Do we know for sure that we'll even be able to switch teams? I don't recall seeing that written anywhere. I mean, it would be nice seeing that I didn't really get to participate in the first round. . .I only got in 10 wins for Faerieland because I was out of town all weekend. I was really excited about it too and wanted to see this thing to the end. . . oh well.

I'm quite surprised by the outcome, Although I would put money on mystery island dropping out in the next round, all the New Member who lost out will gravitate to them because they have the highest score...

I have to say, I'm pleasantly surprised that we won, I expected Kiko Lake to out-underdog us. Well done fellow Brightvale supporters. But, and I'm not really trying to be pessimistic here, I don't see Brightvale getting past the next round, even though I really hope we do.

I'm also really surpised at Maraqua losing, I thought that they had quite a large support base.
