okay krispy, I get the numbers in the url, but what now about a ghost? I dont get anything but a new image with the necklace on the statue.

I think they meant that when they put the necklace on the statue, they tried adding up the numbers in the URL and whatever they got as a result, they tried that number in the spell book and it said something about a ghost. That's all. Just one of many messages the book repeats.

Ghost or message about a ghost? Is this in the 20 finite range of answers?

That looks like the right room to me. Are you sure you tried all 31 books?

Hey I was just looking at the statue of the betrayer seeing if i could work anything out. You can put the amulet around her neck.

I tried doing this with all of the other statues and the amulet will go on them too. The only thing is that the amulet will not stay there, even just going up to look at the gems in the roof and then looking back at the statue makes the amulet disappear. The amulet looks very similar to the one that showed us one of the constelations

Yes, this has been established So far, no idea if it has any relevance to this section of the plot.

I already wrote a VB program to do the opposite of that. Check and see that the page DOES NOT contain the strings we DO know.

Search for posts by author "spudge" and you should find it.

Yar, okay good valid question. But as a layperson, I assume the programmer always knows more. Is there a unique ID for each of the 20?

If so, start from there, is sequence I am almost sure, NOT a combination (admittedly many more possibilities/probabilities, but FINITE and possible.)

sorry I was stuck in a meerca chase challange, I've done it on the hunter several times and gotten 3 map pieces and the msg from the 1135 in the url is The ghost of King Coltzan flies through the room! I just thought it may be something only because the necklace is NOT in the inventory.

Just a quickie.

I was thinking about it, and if the Sleeper was the room the book was in, it made logical sense to me that the Hunter might be the spell I needed.

So, I tried everything I could figure.

I got -5070 for my x coordinates, and -1010 for my y coordinates for the Hunter.

I tried spells: 12, 2, 120, 20, 6080, 4060, 12020. Nothing so far.

I'm trying Jerdana now - and just came across something interesting. In my coordinates for her, there are a number of repeated coordinate numbers. Particularly 796 is repeated 3 times, and -29 is repeated 3 times.

So, these are the numbers I'm trying for her:

796: Mystical howling
29: Cloud of dust
796-29=767: Grow 10x1/10 of your size.
4646 (added all x coords): Skin random shades
84 (all y coords, was negative, made it positive): Stone floor to mud
4562 (x coord total + y coord total, keeping the negative): Loud thumping
20 (add the sum of x coords): (don't have to try, I know from Hunter that it isn't the right one)
12 (add the sum of y coords): (don't have to try, know from Hunter)
32 (sum of sums): feel dizzy


Ok, so that didn't work either. Maybe I should try the statue I got the rag from earlier in the plot?

Those numbers are repeated b.c her thing is a cross with an outside dot.
