Okay i've checked all of the possible combinations using multiples of 3 between 6 and 18 as suggested.
No book

What's the most effective thing to do now.

A) Check 3x3, 3x6 . . . 18x3
B) Check 21x6 . . . 21x21
C) Go back through 6x6 ... 18x18 and make sure i didn't miss anything

Right...but whats to say there wasnt a clue? I mean just because we got lucky and found our books, doesnt mean that there wasnt a clue...

Or that there isn't going to be a clue in the future. It could be that althought the book can be found maybe the clue for it hasn't been released, hence why the spell can't be found.

Exactly what I think...Im an old timer with the plots...based on experience,I'd say that we should stumble on something definite....like
1515612939 room,room,book#,spell
or something.

What's the highest x and y value for the archives? Maybe we can limit the number of rooms we have to search if we have a limit on the values. I sure don't want to go through 100's of rooms if the highest number is 21 or 24. Does that make sense?

It's in theory infinitely big, even if I heard that the max value is something crazy like 2^32...

I think Roses ment the highest value that's produced a spell book.
The archive is certainly infinitly big (and can, i believe even use decimals) but I doubt all of it is intended for use

Since some people don't seem to know this, search the rooms with 3 too. I found my book in 18x3.

I've searched 17 rooms so far and no luck.

Hm, you're right, has anybody found their book in a room whose number is 24? o_O

I bet that TNT are sat at their desks laughing their heads off at us, as we continue searching for the book and spell, whilst missing the most obvious clue ever. :x

I had better get more than a stupid t-shirt from this... I still havent found my book, and i keep forgetting which was the last book i looked at.

who do you turn to when you're crying, and the only person who can help you is the one that made you cry?

Yeah...that's what I mean. I didn't know if I was clear enough ^.^;.

EDIT: I know. I've probably looked at the same book about 50 times by now.

Anyone have any idea what could be wrong?

I went to the Archivist and he told me to get the constelation....
so I go to the telescope and find what has to be the spot and it keeps telling me that it is incorrect. Any ideas?

I think for people just started to search for the spellbook, to stick with the squares first (i.e. 3x3, 6x6, 9x9, etc). For instance, I found mine in 12x12. Only if that doesn't work should you move on to the odd coordinates. Might save you some time.

First click delete all and recollect the stars. If that doesnt work delet all again, and check the archivists clue list to make sure you're connecting them correctly :-p
