I was wondering, when I read my pet a book, sometimes he says "That is like such a boring book!" , only certain books he says it to, but I don't know anything that would cause him not to read it. I'm spending hundreds of thousands of neopoints for the Booktastic Book Award but I won't get it if he doesn't read these books. I'm sort of clueless about this stuff. Is there a way I can fix this, or can anyone help? Thanks :)

I don't know if this is always the case, but if the number of characters in the name of the book is the same as the number of characters in your pet's name s/he won't read it. You can get them to read it just by switching to another language.

The switching languages bit helped (and I got her to read these two books).

But there were two books she wouldn't read, one had 22 letters, the other had 15. Her name has 11... I could see it might be that if it's a multiple or something... but where does 15 fit in?

70 months and counting...

When my mother first started reading to her pets they woudn't read encycladipias, said they were boring, but would read the ones with more childish titles.
Now she's read them quite a few books and they'll read the ecycladidias, but not the childish sounding books.
Maybe how many books they've read makes a different?

Somewhere out there, there's a formula that says why your pets find certain books boring, and it definitely has to do with the amount of characters, but I have no idea where it is. Perhaps http://www.spankaroonietwo.com, but I'm not sure.
