I'm thinking a nice straight jacket and a padded room for a couple of weeks would be appropriate for a prize. :P

Dido to that!!

Hey ahs anyone noticed that if you take your broken astrolable to the toy repair shop that they will fix it for you? I wonder if that has anything to do with the last clue or if we will need it for anything o_O

Yes, I think the Astrolabe is for use. Cause then they gave it to us for no reason.

At the moment, all is speculation and pretty much nothing is confirmed. Therefore, all our guesses are just shots in the dark. Most of what we've learned can sort out a few details, but there aren't any guarantees.

A straight jacket, huh? What good does that do me when I've been escaping them for years? Just for clarification, I'm NOT an escape artist.

Oh, before I forget, forward all criticism to the other me.

I'm just hoping they're not giving us the prizes as we go.

Heh. That would be sort of annoying. We have:
- A Badge, which could be used as... er... a fun toy?
- An Astrolabe, which could be used as an ornate one-use Battledome item (would you want to use an item that you've just whacked Punchbag Bob over the head with to predict stars? You've already caused them...)
- The Astronomy Club as a Battledome weapon/hilarious pun.

Not sure that'd be entirely fair, so let's just hope not. :)

I know I would be. :| All this for a badge, a club, and a pretty little shiny thing? Ugh.

Not to mention the next amazing booby prize...
I think we'll have to adventure in the archives again and find the archivist's box of Meepit plushies, and maybe with some luck we'll get one of the plushies as a prize :P

I think the point system would be too much work for a mini-plot, and after all we had to make the same steps more or less... there was nothing we could skip, like carrying sand in the LDP. So probably we'll all get the same things, and the stuff we've been getting so far is for those who won't be able to finish the plot. I'd love an avatar, sidebar and trophy. Anda t-shirt :P I'm collecting t-shirts :battar:

But Monday is a national holiday in the US, so I assume TNT will be taking a long weekend, grilling burgers with their famblies, etc.

Mmmmm... Burgers...

Neopets is based in California. Which is, indeed, in america.
The two people who started it are orgionally british (don't know from where) which is why british spelling is often (although not as thoroughly as they would like) used on the site.

On a more relevant note i'm expecting, and hoping, that the last part of the plot will be released with the weekend news. I'm actualy quite suprised that they haven't released it already (lazy punks)

Additonaly, Anjuana -- the astrolab was fixable starting as soon as it was released. It turns into a "shiny astrolab" or something to that effect. Some people were deliberately not fixing theirs to hedge their plot bets but I believe the overall consensus was either that
A) It was just something fun to have
or
B) It would be used for the plot in it's restored state

Yep, both Adam and Donna are British (Adam from Wales, Donna from England, but sadly not from the wonderful city of Oxford (good university :))), but Neopets has always been in America (or so I think). It's not that popular over here though - we don't get any McDonalds promotions or games or anything across the (albeit fairly sizeable) pond.
