Wow... that is EXACTLY what I was going to say, spoon.

Although the graph is really impressive in terms of research and work put into it, I think what would be more useful would be speculation on where to look for the last hint(s). And possibly some sort of organized search party or something, like those awesome mystery pic people.

Of course, 8) I'm not volunteering to head the brigade!

An organised search party? Have we lost a small puppy on the mountainside? :)

Seriously, though, I think it might be a good idea if we nominated people to check a couple of areas each, regularly, so that we don't miss anything. Although, chances are people would find anything hidden there without the NSART (Neopian Search And Rescue Team). But it would make me feel happy.

I haven't looked at the graphs, but it sounds like some of the things I learned in Numerical Methods, which would make you either really intelligent in odd things or an engineer or math student. Congrats for finding an application for that stuff though.

Here for years and still know nothing...

Well I think it's coming to a point where we can put the whole prediction thing to rest, because, after all, the clue comes when it comes.

I'd just like to point out that putting mathematics towards predicting, explaining and analysing human behaviour can be suprisingly effective, as mathematical proccesses can usually be created to describe how we would see something as 'random' - and when people try to do something that they want to appear random, they actually inherently put a pattern in. This is rather high-powered maths and is used in criminology, so if anyone really, really wants to hear any more, PM me, but I don't think anyone will bother.

Either way - the clue will come out! So that'll be sweet.

That is true to a point... but the shape of the graph was formed by regression... which means that it uses interpretation of previous points to form the model... not just a quadratic - the reason it's going up is because of the extra time taken by TNT each time, and this is because the end of the plot is approaching. Even with 15 constellations - the graph still has a reasonable time between each time the clue is released.

Hahah, but there I go again, more mathematics prattle.

Well, when it comes down to it, I just want the CLUE to come out.

Who will second my call!!!

I agree with whoever said about stopping predictions now (I think it was btjaus) because, in all probability, with a new plot beginning in June, we only have one step left, and if we only have enough information to guess that the last point is within about a fifteen-day area, it is obviously not enough yet to confirm with the utmost accuracy when it will be released.

And, the last part will be released when it's released. Enough said.

Just because it is the day of hunting today, doesnt mean the constellation is out. All dates have names in Neopets, and the date that is shown on the front page of Neopets is irrelevant, or at least does not apply to when the Altador Clue is released.

It's merely a coincidence, but an interesting one at that.

And it's not the day of Hunting '25th day of Hunting' means the twenty-fifth day of the Month of Hunting. So, the clue was 'blatently' released in the last 25 days, or in the next six. Quite a small window really.

Nope. If it's like the Lost Desert plot, everybody who completes it before a certain time (a week, a couple of days, nobody knows) will get a prize. Since it's a mini-plot, nobody knows for sure. I'm hoping for a trophy :P

A trophy, sidebar, avatar, and at least some distant points to buy prizes from for all we've been through .___.

Trophy and sidebar would be nice... though, I'm up for just about anything. This will be the first plot I've finished. I was too late for the latest Maraqua and I couldn't get past that darn tomb in the Lost Desert.

Does anyone know if the "Altador Cup" is in the Darkest Faerie game? I was at Zazzle yesterday and you can order a shirt there with that on it (with an elaborate symbol). Just wondered if it's something already out, or something to come.

I'm thinking a nice straight jacket and a padded room for a couple of weeks would be appropriate for a prize. :P

Heck yeah! The Astronomy Club could issue us an Altadorian Straight Jacket after we get so out of control since we really think "we" (What we you might ask? Well that is what the straight jacket is for!) ;) should be Club President. Then Finneus, in his own senility pads the Archives and somehow the Altadorians are all convinced that we stole their history and they imprison us in the Padded Archives for weeks .. searching for a lost clue that hasn't even been released yet ...

Yes folks, I have been without cable TV for far too long. :P Sorry.
