Actually, my friend said that she has seen Neopets merchandise in stores before and I've seen trading cards around (though never when I have money). And yes, I am in NZ. :p

you know, I dont live in US, but even if I did, what would my chances be to win a card tournament. lol.. So its still an avatar that few and far between will get.. And if your really persuasive maybe you can find some kind soul to buy a bag of stickers and give you the rare item code to get the space faerie as a challenger if you live outside US.. But there again. is your pet strong enough to even beat her. She is a doozie to beat..

That really is a mean >.< I don't like TNT that much anymore!! I bet TNT will get bombed with e-mails and editorial questions about the avatar and they will have to make another way to get the avatar. When i first saw the avatar it looked like an avatar you would get for like 20 trophies... maybe TNT will make another way you can get the avatare like the i love neomail one

It's unfair to alot of Americans also. I live in America but I would have to travel hundreds of miles to get to one of the tournaments.....I don't see that happening

So wait.. I'm a bit confused. You're saying these people (that have the av) actually competed in a TCG game themselves, and then won the av? So what, does someone walk up to them and say, "here's the code for the av"? And I don't think I've ever seen one of these tourneys advertised on the site. Maybe I'm just not paying attention...

Sheesh, it's just an avatar, if someone doesn't get it, it doesn't mean that they are lower down on any social ladder or anything like that, it just means they don't have the avatar. I mean, I dunno, if people really take avatar collecting that seriously, I think that's kind of sad. Missing a few avatars never hurt anyone.

Loose (loose mind you ) parallel: A...really bad criminal is running around the U.S., the government has set a reward for whoever can find him. Everyone looks for him, even people in other countries, but only one person finds him and brings him in. That person gets a reward. Now, all the other people all over the world who heard about the criminal and were looking for him complain that the U.S. government is unfair, because only one person could get the criminal and get the reward. And, well, this parallel is going downhill faster than I want it to so... Anyways, I say, whatever, who cares, yeah, I would have liked the avatar, but hey, it's quite obviously not the coolest avatar, and I would probably never use it anyways, and 99% of everyone else on Neopets doesn't have it, so it's not going to keep me from getting any higher on the avatar collect high score list than I could be anyways, so, wutEVUR!

I hate to break it to you but just cause someone lives in the U.S. they can buy neopets items. I live in Northeast Tennessee and they don't sell it here.

I dissagree because evereyone had a fair chance. Every one could look for the criminal. In the TCG case only a select few could try to get it.
