Refresh the page when you get to teh water plant the page doesnt like to load to say you can get in

I so think I'm going to let my friend click randomness...... this is making my brain hurt and I'm not even thinking just clicking bleh! BLEH I say!

I can feel your pain. It took me about four or five hours to get mine fixed. It didn't help that I kept getting logged out and had to log back in before I could continue. I was just about ready to cry/curse when I got it. Keep at it and you'll get it hopefully.

TNT really needed to put more thought into this...thing. I refuse to call it a puzzle because it all seems so random.

Since most people have posted their combinations, here mine:

++|+xU|DUD

Just for giggles, here's what my water looked like:

Left room: no water
Main room: left vat full
Right room: vat full, lower right pipe full

Maybe this'll help someone.

The continues are very important. Also what did the farmer say. If the farmer was not talking about flooding, refresh there. That has stuck a few people also.

pipsqueeek: Yes, I am working on something similar to that. A bunch of finite (hello, TNT! FINITE) sequences I can try until one works, using a method of resetting a lot and trying to notice one change in each room then going to the next or something similar.

I posted the Excel sheet for those wanting to double- and triple- check every combination to be sure, like myself. Perhaps I should take it down?

ProfessorRemusMoonyLupin: I have no idea what in the name of Luperus' third head is going on here either.

A combination of proper room sequence and click sequence, seemingly totally unrelated to the change of water in any room (is not how a water plant works)!

Yes, I did. What I didn't try, though, was refreshing once it didn't change. Oops.

I guess the water plant should have 'Abandon Hope Ye Who Enter Here' above it.

My winning Combo:
First Room: + X The water is through the top pipe and in the vat.

Center Room: + + U There is no water running through here AT all.

Last Room: U D D The vat is filled and that's it.

Wow I gave up on my friends account now. I'm just glad my account was easy and I will be able to move on to the next step umm whatever it is lol

Since we're all sharing, I might as well. I solved the puzzle before I even knew how I was to solve it. One switch and two dial turns from the initial setting, and I was good to go... although i did double-flip a couple of switches beforehand. Don't know if that makes a difference.

Anyway, the left room was completely empty of water, the central room had the lower stream running and the right vat filled, and the last room had the vat filled and all the streams empty. And after saying just that, I see there's no rhyme nor reason to any solving of this puzzle except maybe to fill the right room's vat.

Also, don't know if this has been stated, but if you look up and back down from the gem pattern after putting the amulet on a statue also 'recalls' the amulet. I'm guessing it will glow after putting it on one of them?

I was having trouble with mine(though not nearly as bad as you), and as soon as I tried that I got it my second time across. I'm curious as to if this works for anyone else, and also hoping you can finally get yours.

Unfortunately pip, this did not work for me

I filled that vat several times and all the rest as well, I think the location of the water is just a distraction, nothing more.
Me: 1-vat filled 2- right full 3-top left stream(only one filled in entire area), vat empty

I lurked here while I was clicking; knowing that they're were other people wanting to stab their computer screens was most motivating. :hug:

An extra tip: lose all hope in it, swear off playing Neopets ever again. It seems to magically work that way.

aww man we're still on the water plant subject from yesterady? *grumble grumble* lol yea im a sour puss and impatient just cos mine only took 40 mins of random clicking to work ... instead of like a million years like some of you poor souls.. ive said this once and i will say it again...

DO NOT GIVE UP HOPE .. with the stupid water plant and its stupid mind numbing random clickingness of doom

But EvilPickle says you have to give up all hope. I hope thats not true.

I am sure there are a lot of people here cheering on you that have had serious problems. It should be at least a week before the next clue. Maybe take a day off and see if your luck improves later. Because this sure seems to be luck based.

Neopets probably has the solution rotating every 5 minutes or something so that anyone that tried all combinations were doomed because they could not get them all done before it drifted to something else.
