As said earlier, the problem is once you've finally pull the last switch you are automatically pulled out of the water works station and back to the front room. So, either you SS after each lever pull, or you have a REALLY good memory.

you can actually enter the works station after you've fixed it. and it's in the working state, so one can check back and see which pipes etc have water.

Ah. I see. Slash what i said before then. Are you sure this is how it was when the process was completed?

In any case, here's what mine looks like.
Room 1: + + , all pipes dry
Room 2: x + U, pipes dry, vats full
Room 3: U D D, top right pipe full, all else dry.

But in any case, just keep at it and flipping & turning.

I am quite sure.
they were xx xxd duu (and they haven't changed at least.)
I'm not 100% sure how the water was, but it does not seem any different from what I remember.

You know what I like about this plot? Since the map is flash only, whenever it needs to load all the way again, I know that they have altered it somehow.

Thanks TNT.

I went back in to the Water board and had a look at my tanks.

The room you enter (middle room) my right tank is full- the left tank is empty and the pipes are empty.

The room to the right - the left water pipe (above the door) is full and so is the top pipe on the right - bottom pipe is empty. The tank is empty.

The room to the left - The tank is full - the pipes are empty.

Returning to the water works after geting constellation:

Left room X+ top pipe h20, bottom pipe and vat dry
Middle Rm ++D Right Vat h20, both pipes and left vat dry
Right rm UDD Vat h20, all pipes dry

seems to be random..
hope it helps.

hey anyone tried to enter the other clubs after the astronomy incident?

Nothings changed with them.

Although what I find weird is: if it was the blue quiggle running the astronomy club, why didn't he want us to join his other clubs?

I get a feeling that the reason is simply that the blumaroo (the real president) was kidnapped by the quiggle (the reason he was gone so long) and is no being held somewhere in the library...

As someone mentioned earlier, my guess would be that we need to find the president in the library, and this will somehow lead us to the final constellation.

I've been through all 256 combinations and a lot of random clicking and I don't think the pattern matters. It feels more like a random event.

1) I never get random events
2) Random events happen more often if you have a clean cache and fresh cookies, which would explain why some people get the event when they change browsers.
3) A player who is trying patterns would be likely to get the random event while trying a pattern. Their assertion that the pattern is valid would cause other people to try the pattern. A certain percentage of those people would get the random event which would increase the credibility of the pattern.
4) A lot of players who got the right combination early, did so by setting two rooms and playing with levers in the third. If it were a set pattern across alll eight switches, that wouldn't have been statistically likely (1:32 or 1:64 depending on the room)
5) I never, ever get random events.

I think the picture of Altador flooding is pretty awesome.

Besides that, I have no idea what I'm trying to achieve. Am I supposed to drain the irrigation AND the tanks, or just the irrigation?

I'm not sure if it helps, but try to do this like a mechanic troubleshoots this kind of problem: see which does what. And do it one at a time. Also, the effects of switches cannot be reversed by pulling on the same one.

Honestly, I can't see any "objective" in what you're actually doing.
All I can tell is you're switching and turning until the water-experts say its good. Yay?

Yup I think it really is random because I've finished it now and my water works doesn't look anything like other people's. Different tanks are full etc etc. Just try to make sure that ALL of the tanks/pipes aren't dry because then you flood everywhere.

From what I've gone through, randomly clicking the lever's a much faster way, but for all of you who want to know my combination,

room 1: X +
room 2: + X D
room 3: D D U
