I actually liked all of Carrie's album :(

How can you say that?! I beg to differ, but you cannot say that about Kelly's music, tell me one person who hasn't caught themselves singing along with any of her songs! Ruben's Sorry for 2004 was actually pretty cool. I loved I Believe! And Inside Your Heaven was really pretty. So you can't say that at all.

I kind of have to agree. There's been at least one song from every Idol except Fantasia that I liked, and none of them except Carrie sing music I normally like.

To me, it doesn't matter what kind of album the winner makes. I watch the show for its entertainment value. I wouldn't go out and buy someone's CD just because they won American Idol. Thus I will support whoever entertains me the most.

And they need to have J-Pop week, dammit!

:P Sorry; I took it as a given that Kelly Clarkson was the only Idol that was actually... well... an idol.

That would be me! The only song that I know of Kelly's is her first hit ("A Moment Like This" or whatever it's called). All I know is that if I hear any of her songs on the radio, I change the station. As much as I am a fan of American Idol, I don't follow anyone after they've been on the show.

Tonight was a weird show. The two people who usually do alright, but don't "wow" me did an awesome job tonight. And the two people who usually do a great job were just average tonight. I will definitely be interested in the results tomorrow night.

From best to worst tonight:

Elliot (best)
Taylor
Chris
Katharine (worst)

*Dawn, please don't hate me for putting Chris that low. :(

I think all I can do right now is sit back and continue crying because it's the only thing I am capable of at the moment.

If Dial Idol as it is right now is correct tomorrow I don't know what I will do with myself.

Eh, Taylor was better than usual, but as Simon said, his first song was just karaoke. His second was good though. Chris was just okay, like Taylor, okay. Though I could understand that considering it was Elvis. Elliot was definitely the best and Katherine was easily the worst. Taylor and Chris were even.

Hey! Sorry this is so late, but I was at rehearsal xD Okay, here I go!

First Round - Elvis
Taylor - Jail House Rock - Taylor did good. That's it. He tried to imitate Elvis a bit too much. The guy annoyed me on this song.
Audio - 5, Visual - 7

Chris - Suspicious Minds - I'm getting tired of Chris... I don't know why.. It's just every week. The same. He reminds me of David Blaine xD
Audio - 5, Visual - 6

Elliot - If I Could Dream - Wow. I loved it! Elliot really sang it! I smell the Vonzell Effect!
Audio - 8.5, Visual - 7

Katharine - Hound Dog/All Shook Up I loved Katharine! Katharine was flawless. Simon is full of smurfs.
Audio - 9, Visual - 9

Second Round - Elvis
Taylor - In the Ghetto - That was ghetto. xD I dunno, I have mixed feelings. It just didn't do it for me.
Audio - 5, Visual - 5

Chris - A Little Less Conversation - It was okay, not his best, but it was alright. I would've left the stand alone because well it's a little too Bo, but whatever. Atleast he didn't scream it all this time.
Audio - 7, Visual - 7

Elliot - Trouble - I love this song! Loved the back up singers xD That was hawt! He did good, better than Taylor I'll tell you that.
Audio - 8, Visual - 7

Katharine - Can't Help Falling in Love - LOVED IT!! I love Katharine! And if she doesn't win, which she will, but whatever to you haters, Mottola will sign her, he's not that dumb. If she goes home then I'm kicking some booty.
Audio - 9, Visual - 8.5

Flawless? ... so forgetting your lyrics isn't a flaw then? This is almost the semi-finals. No one has room to forget words to their songs. Melissa was booted because of it and she was only in the top 10 (though I admit she didn't exactly have that much of a fanbase to begin with.) Katherine is in the top 4 now, where it means more than ever. Even Elliot, who was struggling when he was learning his first song, managed to get the lyrics correct. At this point in the show, that's basically huge marks off (though I didn't agree with Simon about her second song, I thought it was good, but her first was terrible).

There's absolutely no way that a reasonable or even slightly biased review of tonight would put Katherine on top. It's almost... uncanny. 2nd, maybe, but putting her way ahead of the pack is beyond comprehension. (and almost the realm of opinion).

Elliot was excellent tonight. Taylor wasn't bad as well.

However, I actually really liked Katherine's second song.

Sorry :( I didn't see her critique, and I jsut rewatched it and yea it wasn't flawless, but pretty darn close, and you know what? Yea I really do Katharine is better than all of them. And no it's not beyond comprehension.
