Cheeseroller, Coconut shy, snow wars, and test your strenth also give generally worthless items, but items nonetheless

And JRTman, the non-flash or shockwave games are in php or javascript or a combination of both, not html.

No need to tell me, I'm a PHP programmer and web designer. However, they are called HTML games because they are image and text based which are all coded into the page using html.

Even if I didn't know the difference I don't see why you found the need to point it out to me other than to show off your "l33t" prowess.

It looks to me like they were just casually mentioning because you posted it was one thing and they thought it was another. Let's not start. Thank you.

I play Sakhmet Solitaire everyday now because of the item prizes I win (I'm trying for the packrat avvie, but I refuse to go out and buy a lot of junk). I play to the 2500 limit everyday, and I typically win 1-4 games in that time. I've won as many as 3 separate items per day, and most days I win one (most often the first time I win the game that day). The items aren't half-bad either -- battledome items and "sand fruits." The fruits seem to be most common, and I've sold the extras on the SW for 200-600np.

How the heck do you win? :p
I've played 50 games so far and I haven't won a single one. Maybe it's just that I suck at solitaire, but there's only so far you can screw up the game if you're playing right.

*cough* Speak of the devil.
Right after posting this, I started a new game and won. I should complain more often. Got a Mummified Banana.

I've played over 2000 games, and I win on average 1 out of every 13. There are some days I don't win at all -- my longest losing streak lasted three days (again, I quit playing when I reach the 2500 limit for the day). But I almost always win more neopoints than it costs to play. I've found that playing 3 cards per draw increases your probability of winning. Other than that, I don't have any other tips. Just keep playing -- eventually you'll win.

Yeah, 3 card draw is a lot easier. And the items are pretty good.

I just got a Fierce Hissi Blade, which is pretty rare on the SW (70k+)

The key word is "generally" because random good stuff shows up. I love TYS. I always liked it (gives me stuff for (evil) Edna's quests + decent NPs about once a week) but then I got a snorkle snout. And now I love it.
