could the protector have something to do w/ either the battledome or DoN?

Sat May 06, 2006 4:11 pm

How fair would that be for one of those non-battler users with no weapons and low stats?

Sat May 06, 2006 4:14 pm

Perfectly fair, as they already have at least 1 weapon, and they can have an opponent with really low stats too.

And if it does involve the DoN:
The next one will be number two, so it *should* still be a weak opponet.

And you may not need to actually beat the challanger...just battle it.

Thats assuming, as I said before, that it does involve DoN.

So don't worry to much about it.

That Vaeolus is owning me.

What do you do when it immediately changes position?

Do you do the appropriate action, or still wait the minute?

This is messing me up.

i would do the appriopriate action. it means that your "checking in" or treatment is most likely off (time-wise). not wrong, just towards the end of the minute, instead of the beginning.

Yeah, TNT said there wasn't going to be a war at all. They did not, however, rule out battling (either beating or not beating) a 1-player opponent.

Unrelated note: I found my Protector and Hunter constellations on my map, just waiting for the probably grueling clues to be found.

Someone posted them via text a few splits back. I'd go look, but I'm only on a few minutes break at the moment.

A BD challenger wouldn't be unfair. In the LDP, we were also given a weapon for free, and all we had to do was hit the big bad guy with it. Didn't matter if we beat him or got a draw; it still counted as fulfilling the requirement for that part of the plot. So yeah, I could see them doing that again.

Since our constellations have been nicely collected for us, I wonder if they form some letters or design or shape of some kind. I've looked though and haven't been able to figure anything out.

someone thought that all our consellations formed a bigger consellation

Italics up to the Gladiator, from a previous thread:

After finding The Dreamer, the Lenny emphasises after and know.
After finding The First to Rise, the words are as follows: haven't and single.
Next, theres The Dancer, italics on remember and must.
After finding the Wave, the following sentence is in italics They are the same magic and the next from The Gladiator: is.

You know, some people use italics as a form of emphasis. I suspect this is a red-herring.

Agree, and the italics or bolds always struck me as emphasizing things.

Now either we completely missed every clue there could possibly be, but it's more likely TNT are caught up in the office change and the technicalities of Neopets in general, since I feel there have been a lot of | things not going exactly as they were intended ° | lately: db problems, not loading images, off links, you know the drill.

EDIT: ° laggings was phrased wrongly, the site was lagging, not TNT
And ofcourse I don't mean they don't deserve a break, quite the contrary, after all the thing's they've been improving, you can only expect things to not go flawless. I thank TNT for the super job they do.

I'm sure that TNT's caught up with the whole office move and everything, so I don't blame them one bit for the delay. Unfortunately there's people that demands stuff now and don't even give them a break.
