How high do they usually get ?

Well it's rewarding and fills you with a wonderfeul feeling when 1000 is reached, and I think it doesn't really affect anything, seeing as it's on NNV. I'm sure countless mods have seen it, and nothing seems to have happened yet *knock wood*[/b]

Well yeah, they are annoying. Huge quote towers stretch the page and make 'puters go boom! Plus, just because your posts don't count in here, it doesn't mean that spamming isn't against the rules.

Don't really see what the problem is. I've seen stupid, pointless, and annoying posts outside of of NNV and they're not a big deal. Besides, using stupid, pointless, and annoying as words for the basis for what shouldn't be posted is vague as a distinct interpretation can not be expected. Anyway, it's the mods' job to post and decide what is what. Really, off-topic posts that are just griping about something are no better.

(I do agree that the quote towers aren't really needed though)
