There is now the new option to enable PIN requirement for your stock portfolio. I highly recommend turning it on.

And it's about time for it too.

*runs off to set the pin on that as well*

I have quite a bit invested in stocks-well to me anyway-nearly 500k. So I would not be happy if something happened to them.

This makes me very happy. I had reported feedback on the lack of a PIN for stocks way back when this was in beta testing. It's about time. I only have 250K invested, but it's a good amount to me...I definitely wouldn't want to lose it.

*gives TNT a pat on the back*

Yay! I've been waiting for this since PINS came out. Thanks for the heads up. I was just there and didn't even notice it.

My account has never been broken into, but I know how easily it can happen if you slip up or get snagged bye a cg or whatever the thieves will think of next. I think many many of us have been requesting the PIN on the stocks portfolio from the beginning. Probably not a tremendous amout of people would be financially devastated if theirs was cashed out, but there are many who would lose millions instantly. Well, if the thief thought to check the account's stocks...which maybe they don't much if TNT took this long to put PINs on stocks. I don't know, I don't care, but I'm really really really glad it's an option now. Thanks for posting, I ran and activated the PIN on stocks before reading past the first post here. :D

*screams*
<3 THANK YOU TNT! <3

I always thought trades should be pin protected as well. If someone hacks into an account they would easily be able to cancel any trades that are up, which could very well have items worth millions listed, and then send those items to the hackers account.

I told them about this but so far, nadda.

Exactly. I was really excited to see the PIN option on my stocks. It's been long overdue. Perhaps they had a technical issue with implementing it, though.

Another thing I just thought of that should be pin protected is the pound. I could see a hacker getting angry over the fact he couldn't actually get anything out of an account and then abandoning all the pets.

I always thought the self-freeze option should be pin protected as well.

It already is pin protected, which is quite nice. I'm not big on stocks, but I'd cry if my pet got stolen.

Ahh, I see that now. Shows how observant I can be... the self-freeze pin and trading pin is still a good idea. Oh, maybe a send item to Neofriend pin as well.
