Playing alot of games, doing all the dailies, being a good restocker, doing the stock market. And do all of that every single day as a hard devoted Neopet player. In several years, you'd be wealthy.

I choose to only do dailies, play my set amount of games, and some odds and ends type of stuff. I don't even do it everyday. But if I did, I could get about 15,000 to 20,000 NP a day. And thats me limiting myself. I'm sure there are alot out there who could get more than me who are more devoted than me.

Well I think many of us old timers could have been wicked rich if we had hung onto things....like I remember Christmas paint brushes being 10k....now worth a lot more...not in the milliosn range...but I remeber having at least 4 of em at once...

Actually... I bought a Jacques Stained glass for like 400 k (it's a war item if i'm not mistaken), and... now i can't find them for sale anywhere. I have it in my gallery and i'm curious as to how much it'd be worth. Kinda strange. Heh. The idea of being "rich" is foreign to me both on neo and in real life. I had a million NP once... but that didn't last too long!

Rich players have my respect, I Just don't have the time to put into it anymore.

And I kick myself every day for selling it for 30k. I agree with whoever said that us oldies would be rich had we held on to things.

I also agree with whoever said that there is no point to having the money if you can't enjoy it. That being said, you could still buy enjoyable stuff with billions of NP and still be able to keep your status. So while money isn't everything, it'd definitely be nice to have a bit more.

I'm horrible at re-stocking, I have a few items that I have hoarded (Snowbunnies!!) and when I get really into Neopets I do the "play flash games to their max" strategy (its an easy 10k a day if you're lazy). But I'm never too concerned about having lots of NP. As soon as I get enough for something I want, I buy it. I don't get all stressed out knowing that I just spent 900k on a Paint Brush. I'll eventually make it back.

I've been playing Neopets for... a very very long time (6 years +) and I only have about 2 mill of actual NP. But I have all my pets the colours that I want (except for one) and all the PetPets that I want (except for one) and I have a gallery that I'm pretty proud of and that even has some fairly expensive stuff in it (they joy of Tropical Fruit being retired every year). It's all about enjoying your account, and not about how much you have in the bank.

yes i dont think anyone will be hrobi or featheralley because they have been around for so long, ive been around a while but have taken lots of breaks, and i love colelcting so that has made me not make as much. I want 2 of every item heh, it doesnt help, but just gather what ever you can, i won , i think it was a better than you about 2 years ago and the prize was a "proffesional curse" and so i bought another one so i would have 2, for about 1000, now its worth 700k and i have 2 of them. Also, with organic carrots they are worth around 9k now and i had about 20 of them from grundos gym. There is always a good way to make money , but it changes, the stock market used to be 6np shares or more and you could buy, and that made to much more money, but now i got back into stocks. Also, grundos gym, i used to make 20k a day from 5 minutes of playing, and each day you would get more money. Advent calanders are good, i try to get 4 or 5 of each item because they usually go up in value later. But , they rich will just get richer cause they can use their interest and money to buy more expensive things that will go up in even more value, its mind boggling!

If you are good at restocking, I don't think it would be that hard to get rich.

One time, in toy, I restocked a Tooth Faerie Doll and sold it for 10 million np!

After that, I had about 79 million NP pure.

Alright. So if I horde like crazy for the next three years, I'll be rich from inflation. Check.

My rule of thumb is "If it sells for less than 5000 np, hoard it." because you never know what the next avatar item will be.

When the Advent Calendar gave out a Snow Petpet Paint Brush, I bought three of them as well - they're paintbrushes, they must increase in value at some point. And, when they reach about 75k (hopefully? ), I'll sell one, maybe two, and hoarde the rest for even later.

And I have just over 1 million (not much, but enough), and my trick to getting there, albeit slowly, is not to try too hard. Just play around the site, and you can get a few thousand neopoints, and every little helps. I also very rarely withdraw any money, and if I want to buy, say a Five Dubloon Coin for training, then I try and earn the 9,000np on games and the suchlike.

And the Food Club can be incredibly useful - from a 2,000np bet yesterday, I won 15,000np.

I practically earn nothing everyday since whatever I earn is used to train my pet

you've gotta have goals, i'm currently working for my lab map (i know, i know) then i'll be goin for brushes. if there wasn't anything to spend your money on then what's the point
