This has prolly been asked trillions of times, but with all the new people coming up and all, more brains, more ideas.

I have a pet I just want to use for battles, how can I 'up' it?

I know about the codestones and training school, and about Coltzan's shrine and the occasional level up in the scratchcards, but what else can I do?

btw: don't have money for a kaleidonegg or for lab maps :(

Thats about it. The battledome is not for those who cant make a considerable ammount of money. Thats not saying you can participate but you wont be able to train or go very far. Try the stock market.

There's still Deadly Dice, Academy, Kitchen Quest and faerie quests.

try saving up, each piece costs around 50k, and you need all 9 pieces

Kitchen quests are great, I think anyways, aslong as you've only got one pet though. Otherwise any of your pets could have there stats increased, not the one you want.

Also, I wouldn't recommend you spend more than 4k on a quest, cuz you're not gonna get a stat increase every time.

I read in one or more articles at PPT that you shouldn't bother training for agility, and I didn't see anything about it at the Battlepedia (though I didn't go through all the articles). Does anyone have any more opinions on this? I haven't done so so far, but am wondering . . .

AFAIK agility is only useful for a handful of special weapons (like the Heavy Robe of Thievery, which is a stealer and requires you to have tons of agility and intelligence), but it doesn't actually affect battling in any other way, whereas defence & strength do.

Signature, eh? We'll see about that...

Thanks. I won't be concerned with it then, at least not for a while.

The best thing to do for movement is to allow it to increase with your other stats, because of the lab and KQs. Don't train it, unless you're like 10 points away from 200 and REALLY want that Heavy Robe of Thievery.

I played Deadly Dice and it made my pet go up a level each time. Then one day I played and it was like a double or nothing kind of deal and my pet lost 2 levels.

So... Deadly dice is a good way to level up but then again, you don't know when it will make your pet level down.

And it's addicting when you win alot. At least for me it was. Now I would rather train them than risk dropping any more levels.

Deadly dice is a timed thing, click on an even second and your pet goes up a level, click on an odd second and you lose one level, i'm not sure about the draw thing...

I really should train myself to not get my hopes up with Neopets because I'll just end up falling harder on the ground... face first!
