New Fire Faerie Image?

Is it just me, or is there a new fire faerie image?

Surprized me today when i got a fire faerie quest

They updated all the quest faeries, even the faerie queen on the page if you decline a quest. I think a week or 2 ago, something like that.

All uber-faeries are updated.

I prefer the old Air Faerie.

I like the new Fire Faerie look, but not the Air Faerie. Too much clothing dangling around.

Now all the faeries wear puffy dresses (with the exception of the Water Faerie, who has a mermaid tail), which takes the personality out of them. I used to like the Uber Air Faerie because she looked cool in those trousers.

I like the new looks...except for the uber water faerie. Too much jewellery going on, it looks like it could be a safety hazard.

The quality of the new art is much better, but I can't help but suspect they did it partially to politically-correctify the site further as they're mostly far more conservatively dressed. And the air faerie is rather lame, yeah.

Arggh! Every time I see this, all I can think is "Where are her feet??" Whether it's a proportion issue, or just something about the dress, it's like fingernails on the chalkboard - but for my eyes!

Oh well, considering how useless her quests are, I guess I won't be seeing much of her anyway.

Yes! Yes! It's not just me! Oh my goodness, I don't know what is wrong with this person's proportions but.... they are WRONG! I can't draw worth a toot but i can see when it's wrong.

I think they should just take the doily out and draw in some feet. It would look more earthy anyway.

How about dirty feet or grass stained feet a la Danae from the diamond throne/ruby knight/sapphire rose books...
