Story as of now:
The prince of plumbers is fading fast. Just a few more rounds and our first elimination and drop will be found.

Well, Megahedron won out. His choice for the first Pokeball/Summon Materia round is enacted. Whoever posts the best Futurama quote will get their selection.


1700 Rule: Regardless of when the last update occurred, you may make actions after 5PM your time zone. There is no need to wait for an update to make an action, but it is recommended. Any actions that break this rule will not count as a legal action and will be promptly (eventually) pointed out.

Preferred Attack format:[Character A] attacks [Character B] for -3 damage’ [Do not forget the underline, red, and bold.]
Code:
[u][Character A][/u] attacks [color=red][Character B][/color] for [b]-3 damage[/b]


Simple Attack format:[Character A] attacks [Character B] for -3 damage’ [Do not forget the bold.]

Round 07 Announcements:
1: I am thinking that the first HRB will be Round 15 in replace of a stage. I will post the rules some time around Round 10/11
2: The Pokeball/Summon Materia is here. Simple as always: name, number, and Futurama it.
3: Early update since I have to get fancy for my fancy dinner. Catch all of you later.
4: Zelda cannot target Pikachu or G&W.
5: Here is the main difference between the Summon Materia and Pokeball. You pick the Pokeball and its user, and they are one use only (except Lucky). You pick the user for the Summon Materia, but I roll the d10 and randomly pick the Materia’s targets. Pokeballs are generally more powerful, but there are equal chances of them being weak or useless. Summon Materia are consistently average on their effects.
6: As a note to those that never or haven’t played in a while, anyone is free to use either the Pokeball or Summon Materia, even if they have been nominated already or used a special, but not if they are dead.
7: As a reminder to Mario’s deadly position, he is not officially dead until the end of the round where is reaches 0 or less HP.
8: The Stage is ready tomorrow. Your first NPCs will arrive :evil:

This Round's Weapons:
Pokeball or Summon Materia: 1) Choose an unused Pokeball number or ask for a Summon Materia. 2) Choose a character. 3) Drop your Futurama quote. 4) Wait for the next update to see who wins.

This Round's Specials:
1) Pikachu: Thunder: -4 damage to two characters and -2 damage to Pikachu
2) Zelda: Triforce of Wisdom: One target character cannot attack or heal for the round. Zelda is automatically immune to regular and weapon attacks.
3) Mr Game & Watch: Chef: -4 damage to one character

I'm sorry. That move is too early for you (since by my offcial clock, your last move was at 1900 your time) come back 16 hours from this post. Due to timestamping, there is no arguement.

We get 1 move every 24 hours. Starting at 7 PM hour time, right? The move at 6 PM my time was for round 6, and that one was for round 7.

Round 08


Story as of now:
Marth: <[insert the trivia answer], and then there be light!> [Japanese]
Marth throws the Pokeball. Little Hinoarashi pops out. It charges up its flames and blasts Ice Climbers with an Ember attack for -3 damage before scurrying away.
GM: Looks like the competition is heating up.
Megahedron groans and wishes he had arms to slap the GM in the back of the head right as the round ended. As if on cue, the arena starts shifting. It slowly becomes a large steam filled slum. Cloud is instantly on guard. Despite his readiness, a figure dashes by and slashes him. Two more figures dash out of the steam and attack DK and Sheik respectively. The Turks are ready for action.

Round 08 Announcements:
1: I am thinking that the first HRB will be Round 15 in replace of a stage. I will post the rules some time around Round 10/11
2: The Turks are non-player characters, meaning the GM controls their actions. The only things you have to worry about them are if there are unused weapons. They will act semi-logically, but will not take kills from the players. Like all NPCs, they cannot use indirect use weapons, meaning no: Pokeballs, Summon Materia, HRBs, Hearts, Tomatoes.
3: Unlike other NPCs, the Turks do not lock the stage. Stage shifting will occur as normal.
4: Christopher got +25 points for being elected our Unofficial President yesterday. He may not have had my vote, but I knew he was going to win nonetheless.
5: For those that were with us last game, you’ll notice the cloaking devise has been reworked to fit with the other damage prevention items.
6: As a reminder, (as if the fact that it is posted in detail at the top of the update isn't enough) the 1700 Rule is in full force and violators will be irked to death or their money back.

This Round's Weapons:
1 Cloaking Device: User cannot be damaged for the round, but only deals -1 damage.

This Round's Specials:
1) Luigi: Green Missile: -6 damage to one character and -1 damage to Luigi
2) DK: Hand Slap: -2 damage to up to two characters. Targets cannot heal for the rest of the round
3) Ice Climbers: Blizzard: -2 damage to two characters. Targets cannot heal for the rest of the round

This Round's Stage:
Midgar: Meet the Turks! Three NPCs (Reno, Rude, Elena) attack the characters. Each have 20 HP and feel the same effects that the characters feel. The Stage will shift even if they are not defeated.
