Round 08
Story as of now:
Marth: <[insert the trivia answer], and then there be light!> [Japanese]
Marth throws the Pokeball. Little Hinoarashi pops out. It charges up its flames and blasts Ice Climbers with an Ember attack for -3 damage before scurrying away.
GM: Looks like the competition is heating up.
Megahedron groans and wishes he had arms to slap the GM in the back of the head right as the round ended. As if on cue, the arena starts shifting. It slowly becomes a large steam filled slum. Cloud is instantly on guard. Despite his readiness, a figure dashes by and slashes him. Two more figures dash out of the steam and attack DK and Sheik respectively. The Turks are ready for action.
1700 Rule: Regardless of when the last update occurred, you may make actions
after 5PM your time zone. There is no need to wait for an update to make an action, but it is recommended. Any actions that break this rule will not count as a legal action and will be promptly (eventually) pointed out.

Round 08 Announcements:
1: I am thinking that the first HRB will be Round 15 in replace of a stage. I will post the rules some time around Round 10/11
2: The Turks are non-player characters, meaning the GM controls their actions. The only things you have to worry about them are if there are unused weapons. They will act semi-logically, but will not take kills from the players. Like all NPCs, they cannot use indirect use weapons, meaning no: Pokeballs, Summon Materia, HRBs, Hearts, Tomatoes.
3: Unlike other NPCs, the Turks do not lock the stage. Stage shifting will occur as normal.
4: Christopher got +25 points for being elected our Unofficial President yesterday. He may not have had my vote, but I knew he was going to win nonetheless.
5: For those that were with us last game, you’ll notice the cloaking devise has been reworked to fit with the other damage prevention items.
6: As a reminder, (as if the fact that it is posted in detail at the top of the update isn't enough) the 1700 Rule is in full force and violators will be irked to death or their money back.
This Round's Weapons:
1 Cloaking Device: User cannot be damaged for the round, but only deals -1 damage.
This Round's Specials:
1) Luigi: Green Missile: -6 damage to one character and -1 damage to Luigi
2) DK: Hand Slap: -2 damage to up to two characters. Targets cannot heal for the rest of the round
3) Ice Climbers: Blizzard: -2 damage to two characters. Targets cannot heal for the rest of the round
This Round's Stage:
Midgar: Meet the Turks! Three NPCs (Reno, Rude, Elena) attack the characters. Each have 20 HP and feel the same effects that the characters feel. The Stage will shift even if they are not defeated.
