If you are talking about this one:
http://hacks.atrus.org/neopets/findConstellations.fcgi

It does *not* give you the coords in order. You have to figure that out yourself :) What I did was put a piece of paper over my screen, then marked where the stars where and played connect the dots. Maybe not the most efficient, but worked for me! Try it :)

What I do is use the "Add star" option so I can see all the stars for the given constolation, then I look at the image of the constilation that we found(i.e., the fauna constaltion on the paper) and then connect the neccisary stars.

Here's the thought process I go through to find a constellation:

1. Find a large amount of colored stars (2, 3, or more) in a general cluster.

2. Find six stars within that area whose x and y coordinates each end in the same digit.

3. Open up the picture in a seperate window and connect according to the picture.

It must be just me, but in 10/10 constellations I was looking for, the Virtupets Space station's track intersected it while I was looking. I tended to look along the track to find my constellations.

I dont know if it's what was meant in the beginning, but I do agree that the real constellation is not the same shape that in the clue figure. This one is really twisted, even if the figure on the certificate was quite symetrical, it's the first time I had to use the star finder, I could not figure out by myself where it was, and even with the coordinates, I could hardly recognise it, not at all the same shape that I was searching for. All the other constellations are the same as the related clue (ok, the dancer was turned by about 10 degrees, but really, thats nothing) but this one is not half as symetrical as the clue. Ok, maybe I'm a little perfectionist and obsessive, but still, I maintain that the gatherer is twisted and, as a matter of fact, harder to find than the others.

And I really have to go to sleep immediatly, I'm getting more and more irritable and maniac, sorry about that, it's time I unconnect from that game and return to reality for at least one or two entire days

Do you have to heal the petpet before doing the 11 check on status?

EDIT: What I meant is, do I have to heal the Vaeolus between each minute/check?

Ah, that explains it. I swore that it was a little twisted, too! I tried to submit it after I "found" it by looking at the clue...and got nothing. I also figured it out with the help of a coord finder, and then I was like...hmmm different tilt to it. So, you aren't crazy ;)

It prints the stars in increasing order on the x axis. If there's a tie on x, then it goes in increasing order on the y axis. Yes, I'm so lazy I that I have a script generate the templates.

I'm sorry but after all this time I can't hold my amusement. Did anyone else notice the name of the file when the Archivist prevented the Alchemist from charging us for the Elixir was "quiggle_smackdown"? :roflol:

And just before that the Janitor was cursing the Lenny for the Conundrums being too difficult.

I can see it now on Neo-Pay-Per-View (hey, maybe something for Premium?) :P ... "And in this Saturday's boxing match we present .. the NWW .. Neo World Wrestling .. Quiggle Smack Down!" (Janitor takes winner!) :P

Keep refreshing, you don't have to re-enter the tomb. Watch for the tiny change in the bandages on the lower right of the blob :)

Restive Tomb

I tried refreshing for a long time, and it never showed. However, when I entered the tomb right after the petpet signaled it needed a bandage, the tear showed right up as soon as I entered! I hope this helps!

After too many refreshes at the Tomb (that I knew TNT would not subject their dial-up users to) I decided to find the food/pie before the bandages.

(Still waiting for confirmation or denial of anyone showing otherwise...)

When I went back I found it in about 5 refreshes, which is about "normal."

(Also, make sure your browser settings are in proper working order.)

EDIT: lilnoteinthesky > Good observation! Maybe the clues are all related, but it's a good idea to find 1 or 2 of three clues first before, too; I was just not sure what stage that person was at overall in the sequence of steps.

EDIT2: (In other words, the order might matter, sorry if I was speaking Polish there for a second, lol, it would be nice to notice if that were the sequence, that what the pet needed when it needed it showed up, but with the sequence of the second order of things, I am guessing it is "random" where we find the petpet and when we find the items. The Alchemist is one click, easy, the Colosseum a bit harder but familiar since we know to find the Grarrl, and the Tomb a bit of random refreshing perhaps after all that OR perhaps when the petpet needs bandages. Has anyone any data/observations to post on this?)

Am I the only person whose vaeolus wont be gold and stuff I've healed him and that jazz over 20 times and nothing.

Hello All,
Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? @ :00 I clicked on Vaelous, saw the image and waited until :30 to feed him (just so I could better keep track), then at :59 clicked Check in... saw new image and repeated everything on the :30 action and :59 check in. This seemed to be working because the url went to blah,blah,9=bind. Then, it went up to 10=bind, then to 11=wait, then back down to 9=feed or whatever. Tried a few more times and it would go up and down from 10= to 9=. So, I re-read the notes and tried again. The next time I clicked "check in" right after action at the :30, then again at the :59. It ended the same way. I tried 2 more times with slight variations, with no avail. Hate to be so dense, but once more please?

Actually you have to refresh at :59 seconds to get it. :)
I refreshed for 5 minutes and got nothing but someone on neoboards told me this and it worked.

Navar: Don't be so "complicated" with the times. It's very simple...or atleast it was for me once I got it down ^^; Checking in isn't even neccessary to "submit" the action. Go ahead and leave and re-enter to start over. Look at the fresh picture of the petpet. Click the cooresponding action. Don't do anything else on that page until the time hits :00. Once that happens, go ahead and "check in." Checking in will bring up a new picture...sometimes you may get the same one again. Whatever picture comes up, click the cooresponding action. By doing this, you should be fine, and get it.

Hey all. I don't know if this question has been asked in this split, but I had to ask because I'm eating lunch and clicking through didn't seem wise. =/
Anyway, does anyone remember the alternate way of entering the Tomb other than clicking the wooden plank? I remember the time I did Sleeper we were offered another way and I had to use the other; something about Windows Users IE 6 couldn't click the plank, or something. Right now, I'm stuck over there. =/

Edit: Never mind. I clicked on the Sleeper's lines, left the Tomb, and then finally found the plank accessible. Wahaa.
