Judges Notes: Good round! One thing you all have to remember is to give your subtext the same mood as the signature. If you have a dark signature, you want to create a dark subtext. If you have a happy signature, you don’t want to put a depressing subtext on it. Just keep that in mind when creating subtexts.
.:Requiem:.A Delectable Display
Nice, I like the alliteration and the reference to the presentation of the fruit more so than the fruit itself. Nice work.
Anubis Fine Flavoursome Fruits
Alliteration! It works, and I think it has the right feel for the signature as well. I think a better word could have been used for fruit, but since you used it as part of alliteration, it is ok.
Blk Mage Feeling Fruity
I see you went for the alliteration, which works well on this signature, and I think the subtext also works well on this happy, bright signature. Now, the subtext isn’t anything super original or super special, but it works well here.
Dragonfire Cherries and Kiwis and Strawberries, Oh My!
On most other signatures, I don’t think this would work that well, but since the signature has such a playful feel; your subtext matches it perfectly. Nice.
moogie Juicy
I rarely think one word subtexts work, and I’m afraid this isn’t an exception. I don’t think one word can convey enough. There is a lot you could have done with the word juicy, so I think adding something would have helped.
pipsqueeek Kiwi Contentment
I like how you focused on the kiwis, which are the main focus of the signature. And the way ‘contentment’ sounds next to ‘kiwi’ is very nice. Also, ‘contentment’ is a great word for this signature since it has such a light feel.
Pixa The nourishing nectars of a new bloom
I see you tried to go a little poetic, but I don’t think it works that well on this signature. The subtext itself is nice, but it doesn’t have the same happy, light feel that the signature does.
susannahmio Robert - Fuzzy Outside - Sweet Inside
I love it when people relate the image to the person’s name. The way you related it, is different, though funny, and I think it works well on this signature. It is especially funny for me, because a lot of my friends make jokes about how “fuzzy” my legs are, so yeah, it all works!
Twizzler0171 Simply Nutritious
I think it describes the signature, but doesn’t relate enough. It doesn’t convey the sense of happy, lightness. It more just describes the fruit. I think you could have used nutritious in a more fun way.
WIS The Envy of Fruits
I see where you are trying to go with this, but the whole poetic thing doesn’t work for this signature. This signature needs a fun subtext, not something deep. Your subtext itself is quite nice, but it does not work on this signature.
