Beware of someone with this email: mailto:stupidd.weasel@gmail.com. He will send you NP programs with a keylogger in it.

Thanks for the alert. ;) I hope the keylogger isn't inserted directly into the email....but like that would happen :D

(simplified) keylogger = makes a record of everything you type and sends it to the scammer. The scammer can then find your username, password, and even your PIN from it if you typed them.

That doesn't make them a scammer. That makes them an immature brat who thinks that they can pwn the universe because they can email someone a program they don't have the knowledge to write themselves. Smurfing punks.

No, they're scamming. Telling people to open a programme which then loads on their computer without the person's knowledge and records every key that the user types in (allowing access to passwords on not only Neopets but also email accounts, online banking etc) is most definately a scam.

I believe it is also punishable by law due to the invasion of privacy and also can possibly give them access to bank accounts.
