Well, the time delay is still tiny compared to other plots they have done. The only plot that I can remember in which TNT stuck with a schedule for releasing clues, was the usurper plot. Other than that, it's been like this, one or two clues every few days or weeks. So happy waiting!

But who could it be?"

Hmmm...speaking of the usurper plot...anyone else catching the logic puzzle drift? Anyway, just something to ponder.

Yes, possibly so- but we have to count the Tainted pets, which may come out as a paintbrush. Therefore, it is quite possible the Tainted paintbrush, if there is one, will be a reward.

Hmm, I thought the tainted pets looked a bit too similar to the Darigan pets for it to become a separate paintbrush, personally.

Signature, eh? We'll see about that...

Maybe they will come up with some kind of Altadorian paint brush? :D

Possible, but unlikely. There isn't really a paint brush associated with Altador or similar yet, but maybe a Royal Paint Brush would be released (King Altador, after all)

they have altadorian shopkeepers though, so why not release a paintbrush to give our pets similar looks? i think they'll release a paintbrush at some point, since they pretty much have one for every world.

Not for every world. As far as I'm aware, there isn't one for Meridell/Brightvale or Kreludor/Virtupets. Oooooh, a Space Paint Brush! That'd be cool. I know they have Alien Aishas, but that's about it. An Alien Scorchio would look so cool.

But I like the idea of a Tainted Paint Brush, although they haven't released it for that many pets yet. But I also think an Altador Paint Brush would be great as well.

Oh look, there's a fence. I'm sitting on it.

Well I would point out that the royal paint brush was the one associated with meridel. As far as virtupets, the robot pets are associated with the space station, although you can only get them from the lab map.

For that matter, the mutant pets could also be associated with the Space Station, even though they're only available through potions or the lab ray.

I also believe that the royal Korbats seem to be in the Altador style. While the royals may be loosely associated with Meridell, they aren't strictly so. Somehow, I doubt that there will be a new Altador paintbrush, though. Too bad.

As for constellation theories, since the collector's pattern makes a scale, that we will have to find a sketched scale somewhere. Maybe a new bank?

So, about these really high scores... I did some of the LDP and then my brain exploded. The high scores for the LDP were based solely on how much of the plot you completed, correct?

Do you think the scores for this plot will be based solely on the amount of plot completed, or will there be more to it? Because if it is based only on the amount of plot completed, I can't imagine getting a very rare item as it wouldn't be rare anymore, what with the sheer amount of people who have had no trouble completing the plot thus far.

Thoughts?

I will explain... No wait, there is too much, I will sum up.

Well, what else could they score us on? And not that many people have completed it, I would imagine. And paintbrushes would still paint the pet, Battledome items would still be good, and, even though they may not be quite so rare, they would still be useful - if you wanted to use them, that is.

That's right... it'll have to be way more LDP-ish (independent, sort of like the Punch Club fiasco) for there to be much of a prize.

I seem to recall someone saying they got extra LDP points for playing desert related games and looking up desert related items. If true, there would be points for trying things that do not actually advance the plot. For Example looking at your gems before and after, is not required to advance but may have points. Or those that looked up TCG cards may get points. Maybe even following the links for the PS2 game ads may yield points. Who knows.

You never know. But I would imagine that they would not make up very much of the plot - there would be no way you could work that out. Maybe you'd get a few for the PS2 game, but not very many, otherwise that would undermine the entire plot.

Well you could ask Dolphinling, I think he had the most points you could get in the LDP, and I think Cranberry was up there somewhere too, third maybe? But I think it also had to do with how fast you got the parts done too, cause some people got more than others who finished it.

And yet, that seems really unfair. Almost like the Mystery Island plot - if you were lucky enough to be in the right time zone, you got the best prize. =/

Actually, it was quite fair. They made a strong effort to release LDP things at different times so no area had an advantage over others. But that was a major plot. I don't think this will have such rewards. Frankly I don't think we've earned a paintbrush or rare BD item yet.

Also, those places where you got points for speed were really really complex, it was long after an update when the first people would figure it out. So again, time zone didn't matter.

if they wanted to go by speedy solving, they could have it as how quickly you did it from when you logged on first after they updated it, or from when you first visit altador after each update.

I actually think we have done more work than you give us credit for. In TNT's plan we've had to find the links, find the constellation pattern, and then search through all the stars on your chart to find the constellation. However, the difference between what TNT expects us to do, and what we have done, is huge. Many of us just use the constellation finder php script. Great little tool, but it makes it seem a lot easier for us, than tnt actually made it.
Keep that in mind :-)
